Are Electric Cars Actually Failing?
Why are so many electric vehicles being cancelled? Not too long ago, the electric vehicle EV hype was so crazy and everybody wanted one and every brand was making them. But now in 2025, the opposite is happening and companies are cancelling their EVs in favor of gasoline and hybrid cars. Some examples are the RS6 EV, which is not being made anymore, the Ram EV pickup truck, which has been cancelled, and Tesla even cancelled their Tesla Model 2, which they were going to make. Volvo is not going for all electric by 2030 anymore and Ford also cancelled a few EVs that were going to make. I think this is happening because we were pushing towards EVs way too quickly and 2030 and 2035 was not a realistic goal at all for being all electric. So, what do you think? Do you think the EV hype should have continued or do you think we can put it off for
Electric cars don’t seem to be selling well, and many of the, are being canceled.
