Two Weeks Left To Save Thousands on Electric Cars.

Hey, this is Bob Flity, the electric principal, and uh I am here today uh doing a a short video, really two parts. One’s going to talk a little bit about Hyundai world and what’s happening with leases and how we’re doing on stock and all that other stuff in Colorado. Uh and it’s also going to talk about what’s going on in VW world and Audi world as well. I got my friend Alex who’s who uh uh agreed to do a nice little video for us. Uh and so he’ll be showing up in the second half of the video. Uh but uh without further ado, we’re going to talk a little bit about Hyundai World. All of my viewers are aware that on the 30th, you know, it turns midnight and a lot of the tax incentives go away. Uh, and here in Colorado, we get a little extra boost from the state, about $3,600, which adds about $100 a month to your costs if you’re not buying a car in Colorado. The math isn’t hard. $3,600, that’s $100 a month on a three-year lease. And what’s happened in Colorado is, and many places, is EVs are starting to run out. I talked to one of my viewers in upstate New York, and uh, she can’t find an EV. She cannot find an Ionic to purchase or a VW ID4 uh for that matter. Uh she asked if I could locate one here. Well, I I can’t get you an ID4 right around the area because they pretty much are sold out. Uh and I certainly can’t get a lease deal through Hyundai or through the other dealerships I’ve worked with, Subaru across the street, uh because uh you know, they don’t lease to people out of state. It’s the laws are too complicated. The tax is too too hard to figure out. All of the laws in terms of, you know, uh how that car uh title is going to be processed. Does it go to the customer? Does it go is it held by the bank? You know, on and on and on and on and on. So, it’s difficult. So, for the most part, you’re going to find as as a couple of my viewers have pointed out, they can’t lease a car in Colorado. And I I I figured that that was going to be the case. But the bottom line is 100 bucks more wherever you are. And if your dealership’s charging way more than that on those lease deals, uh you got to work at uh getting them to sharpen their pencil. Every dealership should make a profit, right? I mean, that’s the American way. Uh they pay salesmen, they pay all kinds of people to operate every day to file paperwork alone. It takes a small army. So, they’re going to have to charge you for that. and you’re not going to be able to necessarily get a car for free even though you’d like to. But some of these lease prices uh seem like it’s almost for free. Like for example, this is a $70,000 seal uh Ionic 9 for a couple,000 in Colorado for a 36-month lease. People are are paying $350 uh to $400 for one of these cars. that is ridiculously cheap for a $69,000 car uh that has a lot of bells and whistles even though it’s just a seal. So, that’s kind of what’s happening. Dealerships in this area are scrambling to bring in cars from all over the country. Uh Crossroads brought in a 100 new cars uh straight from Hyundai and they’ve been bringing in truckloads uh from dealerships around Utah because these folks have all kinds of connections in Utah and they’re going to use them to bring those those cars in. So right now state of cars is this. When you go to a dealership, you can’t be too picky about color. If you want to take advantage of the 75 federal and the 3600 from the state of Colorado, uh you can’t because dealerships are running low and they know uh that they’re running low. And it’s not going to surprise uh me at all to see dealerships asking a little more for these leases than they have been because it’s just simply supply and demand. uh the fewer leases there are uh the fewer cars there are to offer and so the price of those leases uh it may go up. Uh so those are the two factors I tell you if you’re still trying to get one of these lease deals just remember that color will be difficult and that you might end up starting to pay a little more for these leases because supply is dwindling. You know we don’t know what’s going to happen in the future uh with with prices of cars. I just can’t predict. Uh, but car companies are still manufacturing them. They’re still going to have to sell them. And I think you’re still going to find car companies, at least for a while, giving you some kind of discounts on these cars uh in the near future. Um, and I’m here with Alex Davis at Ed Carroll VW and Audi. Uh, Alex used to be a salesperson for just VW, but now he’s moved over to the Audi side. And you still sell both, right? Oh, yeah. Still selling quite a bit. And you might remember Alex from the video that we did on the Buzz. We took it out and charged a Tesla charger. Had lots of fun. Oh yeah, that that’s what we did. So Alex, tell me tell me about the ratio of car sales of gas and electric in Audi versus VW right now. Oh yeah. I would say about half if not more than half are EV sales right now. Okay. And that more so in VW, right? More so VW. I think I mean I’ve sold all my VWs I’ve sold were EVs. Okay. Some few buzzes, some ID4s this month. Yeah. And then because the lease deals were insane on that. Unfortunately, the Elite deals were so insane. What’s your stock of VWs right now? Oh, there’s none left for ID4s. I got a buzz. That’s about it. Yeah. And uh and are you guys shipping any more in? Are you going to be able to get any more in, you think? Or It’s tricky. Um we have a few more coming. Maybe two more coming. Friday fours next month that are still available. Okay. Hopefully hopefully before the end of September 30th. Exactly. All right. And then tell me about Audi’s though because you’ve got some Audi’s. You know, a lot of people are coming in with these lease deals. They really don’t care what they’re buying. Uh they just want the cheapest lease. Uh some of them have no tasting cars, but they want the cheapest lease. Uh and in Colorado, they get an extra $3,600 on the lease deal because of the state, but really over 36 months, that’s 100 bucks, right? Yeah. That’s not that much. So, so any deals you talk about at $100, that’s what you should be getting, right? And if they’re not getting that, what should they do? They should work a little harder. Oh, yeah. Yeah. Don’t accept that first offer. No. Take the luxury a little bit. Yeah. So, let’s talk about what you’ve got in stock and and and what’s happening here and and some maybe some prices they would get. Oh, yeah. I’ve got a few Q4s left. I got about four left. And those are showing about 179 a month for 10,000 mi a year. probably five grand down roughly. Yeah. And and Alex, I’m noticing black, gray, and white. Yeah. Right. That’s really your options right there. I’ve got maybe one more hiding back there. But yeah. Yeah. I put that nice blue car behind us, but it was a gas car cuz it’s a nice Audi color. But but you know, that’s happening everywhere, right? I mean, your color choices aren’t as much. So, if you want those savings, you’re going to have to you’re going to have to maybe limit your car color choices, right? sacrifice some pickiness to get what you want. That’s That’s totally worth it. How about How about the new uh Q6? How’s that doing? Oh, those are doing great. I’ve actually got quite a bit of inventory. I started the month with a whole lot and now I’m down about 12 left. And those are great deals. Those are about 3.89 a month for five grand down for 10,000 mi a year plus. Oh, and how much inventory have you got of that? I’ve got I’ve got 12 here probably. Okay. Yeah. So, so that’s So, you’ve got a a good stock and maybe more than just black, gray, and white. Exactly. I have quite a bit of color selections and you’re getting a $75,000 car for one of the best deals I’ ever seen on the Q6. And that’s going away on September 30th. So, all right. Well, I really appreciate your time, Alex. Thank you. Thank you for being on the channel. Of course. Um, and so I appreciate you you watching the channel. Uh, I I need you to subscribe if you can because it helps these things going. Uh, these videos take a lot of time to make an effort. I enjoy making them, but I would really appreciate it if you would subscribe. And I hope you enjoyed. Alex uh from Ed Carroll VW Audi. Uh, I’m so glad that they support the channel uh by being available and lending cars out when necessary. Uh, and so if you you want to buy a Buzz or you want to get some, in fact, go go go see those folks at Ed Carroll because they’re good folks. And uh, I really appreciate you watching. Uh, take care and we’ll see you soon. Thank you. There we go. Hopefully that’s all right. Yeah, that’s good. That’s good. [Music]

Americans are down to the last two weeks to receive $7,500 tax incentive from the Federal Government and many dealers are running out of cars. This video covers Hyundai, VW, and Audi availability in my area. Crossroads Hyundai sold thirty electric cars on September 13, 2025 alone and Ed Carroll of Fort Collins has zero I.D.4s available (but a few nice examples of the VW Buzz are still on the lot).
