I Bought The “Perfect” Bike
When you picture the perfect bike, what comes to mind? Is it the fastest, most expensive bike like the Stark Var? Is it the ultimate sleeper like the Banel? I have both of those and every other bike worth buying, but this one is different. When the Suron Ultra B first came out in 2022, I was underwhelmed. It just felt like a bigger Siron with less power, and it was this ugly green color, far from the perfect bike. Fast forward to now, the new Suron Ultrab is double the power and almost unanimously hailed as the best bike ever made. It’s not too big, it’s not too small, it has plenty of power and the curb appeal to back it all up. Unfortunately, if you’re considering an Ultrabe, Siron has officially stopped selling bikes to the United States. So instead of gambling with a sketchy fake Siron website or a Facebook marketplace dealer with scratched VINs, I decided to buy mine direct from China through someone I met on my trip there. It finally came in and I couldn’t be more excited. I’m only doing two things to this bike for now. I’m removing all the decals and stickers to go for the clean black look. I’m so glad they switched to a black frame from the old color, but I am still considering a powder coat in the next video. I also got these stunning custom Super Moto wheels from Milk Racing. You can customize the color of the rims, hubs, spokes, and nipples. I went with all silver to match my truck and Starkvar EX. The tires are damn near as wide as my Stark Varc tires and they come installed on the wheels. Some other wheel makers will send you wheels with no tires and it’s a pain in the ass. You can get laser engraving on the wheels. So, I got Sironster. Also, a little signature. These logos are lasered. There’s no stickers or printing that will come off. And it fits the truck like a glove. Maybe 1 in of clearance on the tailgate. It feels like it’s meant to be. I’m trucking deep into the mountains to take the Ultrabe on its maiden voyage in a new spot I’ve been warned not to go to. [Music] Let’s go. First ride. Hit the ready button. Turn my headlight off. Nice warning. Nice. Lock the truck. Nice. We’re out. It feels so good. This is not my first time riding the new version of the Ultra B. I rode it for like 10 minutes in China. It’s a big bike, but it’s not too big. Like, you can still get away with this. Just like that. So, this is a special spot. Let’s go into sport mode. This is slow to ride because it is a it was a highway, but it was shut down. And the reason it was shut down is because too many people died on this highway. It’s supposed to be one of the most beautiful highways in America, but also the most deadly. Kind of curious like who else is up here? What I’ll find prettying remote. It took an hour to drive just to that gate. An hour through the mountains. You stop seeing other cars after the first 20 minutes and then it’s 40 minutes of seeing nobody. That’s how deep we are. My hands all jacked up from those muscle ups. It’s like it’s healing, but then where where the skin needs to fold and bend, it’ll it’s staying pretty raw. It kind of hurts to ride, but it’s going to take a lot more than that to stop me. There’s all these rocks in the road cuz it’s not serviced anymore. And there’s no service out here, like phone service. So, I’m going to be extra careful. It would suck for something to go wrong out here. Now, one of my first Whoa. You see thating little rocks are going to take me out. One of my first impressions on the Ultra B is that my balls feel so cool. Nobody talks about this, but there’s some really good I would call them nut vents right here. Right here. It collects all the air and it vents them. Bang. Keeping low rosters super happy down there. Look at that bridge over there. Sketchy. Let’s go across it. What? Wa. We rode all the way all of that. Coming up in this video, I’ve organized the first ever Ultra Bon ride out. So, we should have up to 100 Ultra Bees meeting up tomorrow to ride out downtown. But I wanted to do this first test solo because this is really one of my dream bikes and it’s an emotional experience to get a new bike and I wanted to have this moment to myself and just share it with you and not be distracted by anyone else like Jim trying to cut me off. Usually if I want a bike I can get it for free. Kind of crazy thing to say but it’s true. This bike, no. I had to buy it and wait for it and then drive 16 hours to pick it up. Monster rides is about to have its first birthday which means I started it almost a year ago and just yesterday we had by far our most upset customer and I just wanted to share it cuz it’s kind of funny. So she ordered an RTR light for her son but then UPS lost the bike. So she reaches out and says, “Hey, the tracking says the bike’s lost.” And we said, “Oh shoot, you know, that’s super inconvenient. we will send you another bike when we get our next batch in because we had just sold out. So, we said, “You’re at the top of the next batch and we’re going to refund your shipping. So, here’s $200 back.” And she said, “No, that is unacceptable.” And she’s giving uh Hayden, my head of service, just the hardest time, for example. They’re finally finishing the phone call and she’s yelling and all that and they’re about to hang up and she says, “You know what? Just tell me one more time when I should expect your next update.” and he says, “Okay, well, you know, your next update should be click.” She hangs up on him. She alioops the question just so she can hang up on him. So then I called her and I was like, “Hey, I heard about what’s going on. Do you want to share your experience?” And she’s like, “How about you ask Hayden?” She’s saying, “No, you should go to business school. You don’t know how to run a business.” And what she did is she reported us to the BBB, the Better Business Bureau, which is kind of a big deal. You can get like a really bad public rating for your business. And sometimes you can’t accept credit cards anymore, so your business is basically done. Anyway, I said, “Hey, can I call your son? Maybe he enjoys the YouTube videos and maybe he would enjoy a one-on-one conversation with me.” And she says, “No, I hate your YouTube, too. I don’t want my son to talk to you.” And I think that’s a shame. I think the son would have gotten a kick out of having a conversation. I would have had a kick out of the conversation. She got her money back. She’s super pissed. She’s going to write all these bad reviews. But I’m so proud of where Ronster Rides has grown in the last year. How many times can you get responded to within 24 hours? Usually, I’ve seen people wait weeks to get responses for service issues. We also get a lot of scammers on roster rides, but we’re pretty good at responding to the scammers because we know where they live. We know where they’re they got the bike to. So, I’ve shown up or I’ve had friends of mine show up and get the bikes back instead of letting them get away with it. I just have to do a donut here in the truck with the Ultra B in it. I still have 62% of my battery. And that’s one of the things people complain the most about this bike is the range. Look how beautiful this is. And I got the whole group behind me. But I’ve had really good range so far. I could ride double what I just rode. That’s plenty. This is a full ride. Yeah. Get that.
