Dodge EV Pulled Over For Loud Exhaust
A Dodge Charger EV owner in Minnesota just got pulled over and ticketed for having a loud exhaust. All right, man. So, you get a couple citations today, right? You’ve been warned for your muffler in the past. There is one small issue, though. The Charger EV doesn’t even have an exhaust. It’s an electric car. So, the driver, Mike, was cruising with his friends when a trooper stopped him, claiming his electric Dodge was way too loud. And the owner tried to explain that it’s an EV, but the cop wasn’t having it. That was that was when I had a gas car. Okay. I’m not going to argue with you. Okay. Instead, he handed him a ticket for a loud muffler, missing front plate, and even a public disturbance. The other one you’re getting is for public nuisance. Okay, that was super loud back there. And well, Dodge did say that the speaker emitting engine sounds is as loud as the outgoing Hellcat, so it could have been pretty loud.
