hybrid SUV from Geely Automobile, featuring the world’s largest battery, has
officially opened presales in China with a starting price of 479,900 yuan, approximately
67,080 USD. Offered in three trim levels, the Zeekr 9X delivers up to 1,030 kW or 1,381 hp
and achieves a combined CLTC range of 1,200 km. Zeekr, the premium automotive brand
established by Geely Automobile in 2021, was initially focused solely on pure electric
vehicles. However, adapting to the rising demand for plug-in hybrids in China, the company
introduced its first PHEV, the Zeekr 9X. This luxury full-size SUV made its presale debut
at the 2025 Chengdu Auto Show, positioning itself as a direct competitor to the Aito M9, Li L9, and
other top-tier models in the premium SUV market. The Zeekr 9X full-size SUV measures 5,239 mm in
length, 2,029 mm in width, and 1,819 mm in height, with an extended wheelbase of 3,169 mm.
Marking a major milestone for the brand, the Zeekr 9X is the first model built
on the new SEA-S modular architecture. Buyers can choose from five elegant
body colors — black, white, silver, gray, and purple — giving this flagship SUV a
premium and customizable presence on the road. The Zeekr 9X interior is designed to reflect
premium luxury, offering three elegant color combinations: deep blue, beige, and brown.
This full-size flagship SUV comes standard with a six-seat configuration in a 2+2+2 layout,
ensuring maximum comfort for all passengers. At the heart of the cabin, the center console
features a dual 16-inch screen setup, while buyers also have the option to remove the additional
passenger display, reducing the price by 5,000 yuan. Enhancing the tech-forward experience,
the Zeekr 9X SUV includes a massive 47-inch augmented reality head-up display and a 17-inch
3K ceiling-mounted screen for rear passengers. Luxury details further elevate the atmosphere, such as a solid wood central armrest
that integrates a wireless charging pad and crystal rotary knobs, underlining the
Zeekr 9X’s position as a true high-end SUV. The Zeekr 9X is offered in three
trim levels: Max, Ultra, and Hyper, giving buyers flexibility in performance
and features. The entry-level Zeekr 9X Max is priced from 479,900 yuan, approximately
67,080 USD. It combines a 2.0-liter internal combustion engine with dual electric motors
to deliver an impressive 660 kW or 885 hp. Equipped with a 55 kWh battery pack,
the Zeekr 9X Max provides up to 300 km of pure electric driving range under
CLTC standards. In plug-in hybrid mode, the SUV achieves a remarkable mixed
driving range of 1,200 km. Performance is equally strong, with a zero-to-100 km/h
acceleration time of just 3.9 seconds. The Zeekr 9X Max comes equipped with
a dual-chamber air suspension and a dual-valve continuous damping control system. It
also features a roof-mounted LiDAR sensor and the G-Pilot H7 driver assistance system, powered by
a single Nvidia Drive Thor-U chip delivering 700 TOPS. For audio enthusiasts, a premium Naim
sound system with 32 speakers is available. The Zeekr 9X Ultra, starting at 499,900 yuan,
approximately 69,880 USD, adds more comfort and luxury. It includes a folding table for the right
second-row passenger, four-way lumbar support, and a 22-point massage function for both first- and
second-row seats. Privacy sunshades for each side window, intelligent headlights, and power doors
are also part of the package. Like the Max, it comes with 660 kW and a 55 kWh battery, but buyers
can upgrade to a 70 kWh pack for extra range. At the top of the lineup is the Zeekr 9X
Hyper, priced at 569,900 yuan, approximately 79,660 USD. This flagship model
comes standard with a 70 kWh battery, providing 355 km of CLTC range, and three
electric motors producing 1,030 kW or 1,381 hp. It achieves a mixed range of 1,165 km and
accelerates from 0–100 km/h in just 3.1 seconds. Exclusive highlights of the 9X Hyper
include a 48V active stabilizer bar, active side support for the driver’s seat, and
rotating second-row seats. It also debuts the advanced G-Pilot H9 system with five LiDAR
sensors and two Nvidia Drive Thor-U chips, delivering a combined 1,400 TOPS. Zeekr
describes this as their first “L3-ready” model. The Zeekr 9X sets a new benchmark for luxury
plug-in hybrid SUVs, combining record-breaking power, long range, and advanced technology to
