Big power, big torque—take a look at the Chevrolet L8P crate engine. Rooted in the tough
foundation and high-strength components that drive our largest-displacement LT (L8T
6.6L), every cubic inch of the L8P has been optimized with heavy-duty racing upgrades,
including a more performance-oriented valve train and a unique, non-AFM (Active Fuel
Management) LT2-based crankshaft for a net result output rated at 523 horsepower and
543 lb.-ft. of torque (an increase of 122 horsepower and 79 lb.-ft. of torque over the
production 6.6L).
