The 2025 Porsche Taycan GTS Sport Turismo Is the Coolest Electric Car
If you’re going to go electric, this is the cool car to get. This is the new 2025 Porsche TYON GTS Sport Turismo, and it’s fully electric. But before enthusiasts complain, it’s also a wagon built by Porsche with almost 700 horsepower. The GTS starts around $152,000, which is big money, but it has big performance. Now, all-wheel drive is standard on all of the TYON wagon models, and this one does 0 to 60 in about 3.1 seconds, which is obviously tremendously quick. It’s not until you get into a car like this do you truly understand what separates a fast electric car, which is a lot of them, from a great performance car. This car is not just fast, which it is. It is also dynamically absolutely fantastic. People complain, “Oh, Porsche, the TYON, it’s an electric Porsche.” But it’s still a Porsche and it feels like a Porsche and it drives like a Porsche. Cornering is absolutely fantastic. It is razor sharp. Steering is immediate, precise, quick. To me, it is absolutely incredible just how flat it stays, just how quick it steers, especially considering ultimately this is not a sports car. It is effectively a station wagon.
