2025 Can-Am Electric Motorcycle Demo | Pulse and Origin Test Rides #ev #electricmotorcycle #canam

Uh, but brakes feel really good. You don’t have a clutch here because this is an electric bike and so all you’ve got is a throttle and then a front and rear brake. Uh, the numbers don’t really tell the story here with this motorcycle because when you look at other other electric bikes, even here in normal mode, which is I guess like standard mode on a motorcycle, it feels very peppy. engine braking. We’ve got regenerative engine braking, which uh makes it so the bike will actually re regenerate some power for the battery. Uh all you got to do is flip that that throttle forward. And I don’t know if it’s at a stop only. Oh, no. See, so it looks like it amped. Oh, okay. So, while you’re riding, so you can put it so that the engine braking actually does it all by itself. But as you’re riding, if you decide you want some engine braking, all you got to do is roll forward on that throttle. And you can see it uh in that blue area. I believe that’s telling you that it’s it’s regenerating some energy here. Suspension here in the front is the uh upside down telescopic uh front forks. And then you’ve got uh adjustable preload in the rear. Uh the same engine comes with this bike as as the Origin, which you see right here, which is more of the adventure style looking motorcycle. Same engine, uh liquid cooled. didn’t have my turn signal on there. That throttle response in sport mode. That is fun. Oh, and you can just throw this bike around. It’s got some pretty good ground clearance over 5 in. Uh and uh the seat height here is just over 30 in. I want to say it’s like 30.8 in. And so, uh, seat height is pretty pretty low considering the ground clearance that you get. Oh my goodness. Yeah. And actually, and actually, this bike feels I’ll put have the weight specs down here for you on the on the Origin. Yeah, this this seat is firmer, too. The other seat definitely had a more comfortable feel. Uh it’s feels like a stiffer suspension and altogether different feel for this ride. Uh the brake peg is feels kind of like I have to to tuck my foot in to hit that brake peg. So it’s a little bit of an awkward feel. I don’t know if it’s just the weight of the Origin, but it does feel uh like a stiffer ride. I wonder if you caught how fast we were going, but it just gets up on it. Uh the the the Pulse does feel a little sportier even in the sport
