The Best Value Full Suspension & Torque Sensor Folding Fat-tire Ebike from Heybike!!!

already. Look, I’m leaning. I’m loving this. This an easy bike to ride. It really is. So, we hit almost 31 miles an hour. What I’m sitting on represents the next generation of electric bikes. Hey everybody, Monkey Wrench Mike here. What I happen to have is the X series of electric bikes. This is from Hey. This is the Mars 3.0. This is the Ranger 3.0 Pro. And they both are full suspension fat tire foldable electric bikes with torque sensors. Like I said, this is the world’s first look at this. I’m going to show you how both of them are put together. Then we’re going to take the Mars 3.0 for a spin and we’ll grade it. I can’t even show you this one for another week. So, that one will be in another video, but I will show you how that one is put together. Are you ready to have some fun? Because I sure am. Okay, here we go. We’re going to de Mars first, then we’re going to romp on over to the Ranger. [Music] [Music] Heat. [Music] Heat. [Music] [Applause] [Music] Heat. Heat. [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] Here we go. That’s what they look like all put together. Yep. This is the Mars 3.0. This is the Ranger 3.0 Pro. And you’ll notice both of them have very substantial cargo racks right here. I like this. I really, really do. The difference, well, we can go over some of the differences. Okay, you can see this is a step over. This is a step through. This is larger. That is smaller. This one I’m going to have to say we’ll see you in a week because I can’t release much information on him yet. I really can’t. So, we’re going to focus on the Mars 3.0. And by the way, the video will be out one week after this and we can check out the Ranger 3.0. As far as the Mars 3.0, as you can see, I love the sticker right there. It just seems to glow. It really does. It is beautiful. The paint is beautiful. We have a 750 watt motor. We have uh 95 new m of torque, 1,400 watts of peak power right there. 624 watt battery, 65 mile range, and these are fat fat fat tires. 20-in x 4 in fat tires. We have a full suspension. We have the front right here. We have the back right there, which means a super super comfortable ride. Um, we have an NFC card for protection. Look at this. Okay, you have an NFC card. You can also do a pin code and you can unlock this through the Hey Bike app. We’ll tell you more about the app in just a minute. This is the Shimano Altus 8-speed gear system. So, we’ve gone up in the number of gears, which is really, really cool. 440 lb payload capacity. And for both of the bikes, you get a 2-year warranty. That in and of itself is huge. I think that tells you the quality of the bike. Top speed for this one is 20 mph, although you can unlock it to 28 on the app. And if you go through the menu system, which I might just have to do, you can make this a 30 mph bike. So, yes, you can go as fast as your little heart desires on this thing. Well, apparently you have to charge them up first. Okay, so we do have the Ranger Pro. This has been sitting here for a little while. So, we got the red light on. So, this is charging. We will charge these both. Once again, I can’t show you this one until mid August. Today, we’re focusing on this one. And I’m really, really excited. So, I’ll get them all charged up and then we’re going to take it for a spin. And yes, we’re going to grade it on fit, form, and function. But just look at them. These are beefy, beefy bikes. As far as what you get in the box, you saw how well they were packed. I mean, hey Bike knows how to pack a bike. Now, you also get your battery charger. This is a little QR code. Takes you to all the kind of manuals that you need to have. And they give you all kind of tools right here. And it’s the exact same for the uh Ranger as well. Okay. So, we’re going to charge them up and then we’ll take the Mars for a spin. All right. The more I look at this bike, the more and more I actually like it. What I’ve just noticed now is you see the red in the middle of the wheels right there. Look at that. Isn’t that gorgeous? And you have this red little cap right here that kind of Look at that view. Look at that. That is nice. That is really super nice. So once again, this is the stepover. This is for structural integrity. This is strong. It is powerful. It’s part of their new X series of electric bikes. And to turn it on, there’s the key that goes just right under here. Turn it on. You hold this button down right here, and it says, “Hey, bike.” Look at that. And then you have the PIN or you can use your NFC card. So I haven’t changed the PIN. It’s just all zeros right now. And this is great to keep your bike safe. Uh oh. I don’t want that. No, no, no, no, no. There we go. There it is. Okay, now we’ve got 54.2 volts. We got the battery fully charged. We’re in miles per hour already. And this is going to be so much fun. Let me kind of tighten up this seat cuz it does it seems to want to wiggle a little bit for me. I don’t like that. So, we’ll tighten it a couple of turns. Come on. And there you go. Now, it’s solid as a rock. Okay, we are in. We have up and down pedal assist right here. Oh, how it changes. Look at this. Okay. Sport, turbo, sport, std, standard, tour, and eco. So, let’s go in three, which is going to be standard STD. We have turn signals. Really, we do have turn signals. Look at this right here. Can you see? Such a nice touch. That’s really, really cool. in on the back. If I hold this up. Yeah, there’s hopefully you can see that right there. Turn signals. Don’t go anywhere, bike. I love it. I love it. That’s such a nice little touch. Okay, we have our thumb drive right here on the right. The Shimano Altus 8-speed gear system. And let’s just go have some fun. Oh, this is comfortable. Oh my goodness. It’s okay. Just kind of see how it’s going high already. Look, I’m leaning. I’m loving this. And the brake. Here we go. And 1 2 3. Okay. Nice. Okay. Now, this is the torque sensor. This is not the cadence sensor. This is one of the features of the X series of electric bikes. Powerful, fat tire, foldable, super fun, super fast, and I’m loving it. We’ll do some gear shifts. That’s eight. We’ll go down seven, six, five. Yeah, this the Altus 8-speed system is super nice. And they’re fast. They’re fast little clicks. Okay, if you have not watched my reviews, I always go the same route at first. because I have to compare, you know, it’s equal footing for every single bike. So, this is the suspension test. This is a terrible road. I’m just kind of coasting downhill. We have all kinds of obstacles and indentations in the road and everything else. And this is just to kind of give me a feel for the suspension. I can feel the front suspension helping out more than I can feel the back part of the suspension. It’s a stiff suspension in the back, but there is one back there. So, it is helping. I wish it was helping as much as the front. It’s a good riding position, too. It is nice. I wish I could Here we go. We’ll turn this down a little bit. Okay, that is the suspension test. It did. Okay, we’ll go up in pedal assist to turbo. And now we just let the bike do all the work. Anything above 12 m an hour is a passing grade. And this shows that I’m going 18 183 180 177 17 18 Oh yeah, she’s fine. Yeah. Okay. Well, she’s passing this with flying colors. All right. You do have a 65 milei range with this electric bike. Let’s just kind of pull over here and take a look at this rear suspension real quick. There we go. See how the front one dips? That’s nice. That is really nice. As far as the rear one, it’s not adjustable. That’s okay, though. That’s all right. Oh, I guess I should remove this. What is this warm-up warm tip? This derailer protector is used for protecting the derailer from being deformed during the shipping. If it’s deformed and touches any part of the derailer, it will affect the use. Okay, so we’re fine. The derailer has been protected. Thank you very much. Now, let’s get back and have some fun. And I’ve just noticed something. Look at this. Have you Look. See? So you can when you fold this, and I’ll show you how to fold it in just a minute, but that’s going to make it fold even more. So you have pedals that you can fold in and out, which is super nice. Let’s do some pedaling now and let the torque sensor help us out. Oh, this is this is good. This is really good. Oh, okay. I do keep trying to push myself back on the seat a little bit. I’m not the tallest rider. I don’t have long arms. I’m a completely I don’t know, average person, 5’9. I’ve been losing weight a little bit, so that’s good. But this it wants to go and it’s really quiet. I cannot really hear the tread of the tires. We’ll get up here. Try the horn. There you go. Use our turn signal. I love the fact that it has turn signals, but it doesn’t show it in the LCD screen right here. You can’t see it. Not a big deal. 16.8 16. It’s an easy bike to ride. It really is. It’s very steady as well. I It’s cool dog. Let’s go down here. See how she does. This is 25 26. We’re going downhill. 28 29 30.6 316 36 29.3. So, we hit almost 31 mph. Now, the speed is governed. See, now that I’ve hit 20, the power will come back on. But like I said, you can raise that through the app and then you can raise it even more through the instrument cluster. I might try to see if I can do that down here. We’ll get into some shade. There’s a little sound when that rear suspension tries to help you out. Nothing major. I love these brakes. They are totally silent. Totally silent. Here we go. We’re going to go this way. Okay, let’s just kind of pull over here and see if I can set this. Uh, usually what you do is you hold two buttons down. Here we go. Now, this is system unit, brightness, auto off, auto lamp, auto lamp. So, it’ll turn the headlights on for me. Let’s turn that on. Oh, maybe it is on. And that’s off. So, maybe that’s on now. Okay. Advanced settings. Let’s go into the advanced settings. Speed limit. [Music] See 30. This is in kilometers per hour. 36 37 38 40 km. So, I’m raising the speed limit. Well, I don’t know how fast this thing is going to let me go, but I don’t know if I want to go 100 km an hour. 10 km. 100. There we go. Current limit. Okay. Oh, look at this. I love this. You can actually turn on and off your cruise. Usually on a bike, if you hold your thumb throttle or your turn throttle right here for like two or three seconds, the cruise will come on, which is nice, but sometimes it comes on when you don’t want it to and it stays on and it kind of messes you up. Look at the Okay, I think we just raised the limit. Let’s see if we can feel the difference. Okay, 7 8 9 10 12 13 14 15 16 18 19 20. That was our old limit. 21 22. Oh yeah, I can feel a difference. 25 26. Woo! We’re coming to a curve. So, yes, that’s what you want to do. You want to raise Oh my goodness. Yeah, raise that speed limiter. Oh gosh. Okay, look at this. Look. So easy to ride this bike. You know, after I don’t know, 40, 45, 50 electric bike reviews, how many have I done, I can I can feel when a bike is well made. There’s that torque sensor coming in. You got to get used to the torque sensor. Okay. It’s different than the cadence sensor. The cadence sensor, you just you’re just you start pedaling and the bike kicks in. the torque sensor. It kicks in when you push down on the pedals, like on the down stroke, if that makes sense. And I I kind of like that better. Let’s just let the bike do some work. Right now, we’re going up a very steep hill. 16.6.8 mph. 17. We’re actually increasing speed as we’re going uphill. Love it. Love it. Love it. Plenty of battery juice left. And there’s that squeak. That’s the only thing. I tell you what, I like the new X series. Hey Bike, if you’re watching, you’ve done a heck of a good job. And I like the name. Hey Bike. Hey Bike. This isn’t my first hayike. I’ve done probably at least two other hayike models and they’re quality products. I can tell you that for sure. You can have some fun here. Do some leaning. Look. And look at this. And I’m It’s still steady as can be. Yeah, I like this. And the fact that it’ll hold 440 lb. Yes, please. I will take one in a minute. Okay, let’s use our turn signal. Come to a stop just like a car. Got our turn signal on. Let’s do some pedaling. All right. Well, this is I like this, let me tell you. I think it’s going to do really well in the fit, form, and function finale. Yeah, we’ll call that the finale when we grade the bike. This is a bike I’m going to keep for a while and just enjoy it. I really am. Just go out and have some fun with it. Let’s get her back and we’ll give her a greater three. Yeah, let’s do it. Let’s give the Mars 3.0 some grades. And you can tell the way I’m sitting right here, I love this rear cargo rack. 440 lbs. Like I said, is what this bike will hold. When it comes to fit, form, and function, fit, the way that the bike was packaged, the way that it was protected, and the way that which it was assembled, that’s the first determining factor right there. So, it was so well protected. Every bike that I’ve received from Hey Bike has been so wrapped and zip tied and styrofoamed and plastic and everything else. There’s never any problems with the paint or any of the stickers or anything at all. The tires were already inflated. It was so simple to put together. Um I want to say it’s like 90% assembled. I didn’t have to do any of this right back here, which is fantastic. Okay, you saw me put it together. It was very, very easy. Everything I needed was supplied, even the tool. So, that is really, really cool. We’re going to give it an A for fit form. The way that the bike looks, I mean, look at this thing. Look at how nice this is. And you want to see how it folds up? We can do that in Well, let’s do it right now. Absolutely. So, what we’ve got here is you’ve got the stem. Push this up. This is going to fold down. And that’s going to go just like this. Okay. Like I told you before, you can adjust the pedals so they actually go in. It’s going to save you some room if you’re trying to put this, you know, in your trunk or behind your couch or wherever if you live in an apartment. Then you have the latch right here. And the bike simply folds just like this. And there you go. Look at that. Okay. There’s a little stand for you. I should have put the kickstand up. I forgot that. But here it is right here. This is what it looks like. Look how small that is. That will go anywhere and you can pick it up. Look at this. Yeah, not the lightest bike, but it is perhaps one of the best well-built bikes I have ever ridden and ever got to review. So, unfolding it, very, very simple. Go up like this. You got the latch. Listen for the click. Handlebars go up. Listen for the click. And there you go. Okay. Love it. Love it. Love it. The fact that it is a step over for structural integrity. The fact that it will hold so much weight. The fact that it is a fat tire bike with a torque sensor with a 750 W,400 W peak power motor right there. Your LCD display is great. turn signals, headlight that comes on at night if you turn on that feature. Tail light, everything you need. I like it. I’m gonna give it an A again. Let’s go on to fit form and function. Function is how the bike performed. Was it fun to ride? Yeah, this this was a lot of fun to ride. I actually spent another I don’t know hour, hour and a half on this thing and just enjoyed every second of that. It’s powerful. It’s super comfortable. The seat is really, really comfortable. The front suspension, as you can see right here, it’s going to absorb a lot of the shock. I wish the rear suspension, which is right here, was a little softer. Okay, there was a little creaking involved when I would, you know, go over some of the bumps. It’s nothing major, but if this was just a little bit softer, but I’m an old guy, so take it for what that’s worth. Um, I do like soft rides on a bike. If you want to go off-roading with this, absolutely. It’ll take whatever you want to throw at it. It is a lot of fun. So, yeah, we’re going to give it an A for function. Yeah, this is a good bike. And the price, let me tell you right now for this is going to come out on August the 6th. They have the price $1199. That’s $100 off. And it’s only going to hold that price for a couple of weeks. So, use the link in the description box below. go there, buy the bike, save a ton of money because this is very inexpensive for an electric bike these days. I’ve tested them that are two and $3,000. This one is less than 1,200 right now if you act when it first comes out. This is something that you definitely definitely want to act on because it’s going to take you wherever you want to go. Put books back here. Put your kids back there. Take them to school. And if you got to fold it, if you live somewhere in a small apartment, you want to put this in your motor home or something. It’s going to fold up into a very, very small little package and you can roll around wherever you want to go. All right, so that’s going to do it for the Mars 3.0, part of the new X series from Hey. Yeah, I think you should check it out. A big thanks to everybody from Hey, and a big thank you to you for watching this review video. We’re back with another one.
