2025 Toyota Crown Signia vs 2025 Acura RDX Comparison | Toyota
The 2025 Toyota Crown Signia versus the 2025 Acura RDX. Let’s discover which of
these premium crossover SUVs offers more for the discerning driver. Thanks to its standard hybrid powertrain, Toyota Crown Signia has higher
EPA-estimated MPG ratings than the Acura RDX. The 2025 Toyota Crown
Signia’s standard heated and ventilated front seats, heated steering wheel, and
heated outboard rear seats bring more added comfort than RDX. Toyota Crown Signia’s 2,700-lb.
maximum towing capacity is higher than RDX’s
1,500-lb. max tow rating. Now let’s put Toyota Crown
Signia and RDX side by side. Toyota Crown Signia’s lineup
consists of two grades, XLE and Limited. Both grades offer standard all-wheel drive along with a standard hybrid powertrain. The Acura RDX, on the other
hand, offers only one grade, though it does offer five
different spec packages. And while it does come
standard with all-wheel drive, there’s no hybrid
powertrain option at all. Toyota Crown Signia stuns
with its refined good looks, offering drivers an available
panoramic fixed glass roof, and available 21-inch alloy wheels that are sure to stand out. RDX comes standard with
a panoramic moonroof. Both Toyota Crown Signia and RDX come standard with a power liftgate, but in RDX’s case, hands-free
access is only available with the Advance or
A-Spec Advance packages. Toyota Crown Signia comes
standard with the Smart Key system and offers available
Digital Key compatibility with an active Remote Connect
trial or subscription, which allows users to
use a smartphone as a key to access their vehicle. RDX offers similar convenience features with standard keyless access. Inside Toyota Crown
Signia’s premium cabin, drivers will find
standard power-adjustable heated and ventilated front seats. On RDX, heated
power-adjustable front seats also come standard, however, ventilated seats are
part of an optional package. When it comes to comforts, Toyota Crown Signia is
just getting warmed up. This great model elevates the drive with a standard heated
leather-wrapped steering wheel, and standard heated outboard rear seats. RDX also offers a heated
leather-wrapped steering wheel, but the feature only comes
with the Advance Package or A-Spec Advance Package. However, Toyota Crown Signia and RDX both offer standard
Qi-compatible wireless charging. But when it comes to the driver display, Toyota Crown Signia has an edge with its standard 12.3-inch
digital gauge cluster, while RDX falls far behind with its standard color
Multi-Information Display, which is only 7-inches. And Toyota Crown Signia pulls ahead again with its cargo capacity, offering up to 68.8 cubic
feet behind the first row with a 60/40 rear seat in
the fold-flat position. RDX offers significantly
less at 58.9 cubic feet of maximum cargo capacity. The Toyota Audio Multimedia platform strengthens Toyota Crown
Signia’s value over the Acura RDX thanks to its standard
12.3-inch touchscreen. RDX offers only a standard
10.2-inch display. Toyota Crown Signia’s interface includes standard wireless
compatibility for Apple CarPlay, which connects drivers to
the apps on their iPhone, including maps, messages,
podcasts, and music subscriptions. In addition, wireless
Android Auto compatibility makes it easy to stay
connected to Android devices and access various apps
and services from Google including YouTube Music and Google Maps. RDX offers standard wireless Apple CarPlay and wireless Android Auto compatibility. Like all Toyota models,
Toyota Crown Signia comes with a standard 3-month
SiriusXM trial subscription that includes over 165
channels available in-cabin, and even more on the SiriusXM app, making it easier than ever to
enjoy not just ad-free music, but also sports, comedy, and more. Toyota Crown Signia also includes trials for Toyota’s line of Connected Services, including Safety Connect, Service Connect, Remote Connect, Wi-Fi
Connect, and Drive Connect. RDX has a SiriusXM trial subscription too, and offers comparable connected services through its AcuraLink trials. Toyota Crown Signia elevates sound with its available 11-speaker
JBL Premium Audio system. RDX offers a similar listening experience with its available Acura/ELS
Studio 3D Premium Audio system. Toyota Crown Signia comes standard with Toyota Safety Sense 3.0. This includes a Pre-Collision System with Pedestrian Detection, Lane Departure Alert with Steering Assist, Automatic High Beams, Full-Speed Range Dynamic
Radar Cruise Control, Lane Tracing Assist, Road Sign Assist, and
Proactive Driving Assist. RDX’s AcuraWatch system has similar features
to Toyota Safety Sense. Toyota Crown Signia also comes standard with Blind Spot Monitor with
Rear Cross-Traffic Alert, with RDX offering its equivalent standard Blind Spot Information and Rear Cross Traffic Monitor. Toyota Crown Signia also has an available
Panoramic View Monitor, while RDX has the Surround
View Camera system. In addition, Crown Signia has available Front
and Rear Parking Assist with Automatic Braking
on its Limited grade. On the other hand, RDX only offers available
front and rear parking sensors and low-speed autonomous emergency braking as part of optional packages. Toyota Crown Signia packs
the kind of performance that impresses. This starts with its standard
2.5-liter hybrid powertrain that generates 240 net
combined horsepower. RDX offers a standard 2.0-liter
turbo 4-cylinder engine with 272 horsepower, but no hybrid option. Both vehicles offer the
benefit of all-wheel drive, with Toyota Crown Signia having standard Electronic
On-Demand all-wheel drive, and RDX with its standard
Super-Handling all-wheel drive. But Toyota Crown Signia outdoes
RDX when it comes to towing with its max capacity of 2,700 pounds, while RDX only manages 1,500 pounds. And here’s something else that makes Toyota Crown
Signia really shine: it has an EPA-estimated 38 miles
per gallon combined rating, which is much higher
than RDX’s EPA-estimated 23 miles per gallon combined rating. Toyota Crown Signia offers
strong value with ToyotaCare, which includes two years or 25,000 miles of scheduled maintenance,
whichever comes first, and two years, unlimited mileage 24-hour roadside assistance. On the other hand, RDX has
Acura Total Luxury Care with Roadside Assistance for
four years or 50,000 miles whichever comes first, and a six-year or 70,000-mile
powertrain warranty, whichever comes first. And since Toyota Crown Signia is a hybrid, it includes a hybrid system warranty that covers select
components for eight years or 100,000 miles, whichever comes first, and a 10-year or 150,000-mile
hybrid battery warranty, whichever comes first. Toyota Crown Signia shines in the premium crossover SUV segment. With its long list of standard features and elegant interior and exterior, plus excellent MPG, thanks to its standard hybrid powertrain, Toyota Crown Signia proves
to be the smart choice. Discover Toyota Crown
