Can You Live in an Electric Car?
So, can you camp in a compact electric car? I’m Alex and I’m 6’5 and I love a challenge. So, let’s pack up and see if I can sleep in it. But first, what am I actually driving? Well, this is the Hyundai Insta, Hyundai’s latest compact EV, which is now available in Europe after its success in Korea. I want to thank Platinum Motor Group, who let me this car for the week. Anyway, let’s get some food and go to the campsite. Just arrived at the campsite. Let’s go and convert this car into a camper. Wish me luck. The real party piece with this little EV is that the front and rear seats fold completely flat, allowing you to put a mattress in the back and use it as a little camper. What you can also do with this car, you can actually use it as a portable giant battery pack. So, here we are. Rate my setup for tonight and let’s see if we can actually sleep in it. Okay, so I’m genuinely impressed that I fit in here. Look how long it is. Look at that. Look how Look, my feet aren’t even close to the dashboard.
