Tesla’s affordable new car isn’t that new after all. And here’s why. After years of teasing a $25,000 Tesla, reports are now saying that it’s actually just going to be a cheaper Model Y. And we actually pretty much got confirmation of this during the recent quarterly earnings call where Elon himself just said that it’s just a Model Y. Essentially, we’re just going to get a stripped down Model Y with no glass roof, probably no ambient lighting, no premium audio, maybe even fewer sensors, or potentially that bumper camera that was just added. I mean, for lack of a better term, it’s basically a Tesla, but unplugged with a lot of features just yanked out of it. But what do you think?
