Unboxing the NEW Super73 S2 Laguna! Best Electric Bike Yet? LIVE!
heads. Welcome back to the channel. Today’s live stream we’re going to be unboxing and actually it’s been a long time since we’ve unboxed a Super 73. This is a brand new Super Super 73 S2 Lagoona. It’s uh actually a 500 watt eBike. It’s not their normal 750 watt. And uh if you guys remember, I did start off with the Super 73 RX. It was a Rhino. I’ll bring that out. It doesn’t look like the original Rhino did cuz I did do some fun upgrades on it. Um, and sitting next to it to compare it once I get this out. It does come in two colors, a black and like a green. Not sure what color we got, but we’ll we’ll see when we unbox it and probably peek in there and see what color it is. But before we get started, uh De’s going to be behind the camera. Hopefully there’s a workound. All right, there there might be a workar around and I’m not sure if I’ll be able to do it on the stream. I’ll see if I have the Super Duper app downloaded on this phone. If I do, I will test it out live. And actually, you know what? I could always just download it on there while we’re live and then uh test it out afterwards. Hopefully, Ken unlock it to go at least 28 miles an hour or 25. I’m not sure with the 500 W motor. And they’re claiming like 30% more torque with their brand new powertrain. I I want to do like one more day on the track, but I think I think we’re done. We’re We’re pretty much done. I got a lot of cool drone shots and a lot of fun riding. I went out to the sand dunes. Oh, and I got a freaking Lonear tick. If you guys don’t know what a little star tick, it’s the worst tick that like you never want that tick on you. It’s the one tick that can give you like allergies to all meats and then uh you can go deaf. I had a friend that it just happened to him about 5 years ago. Still can’t hear, still can’t eat meat. I’m so scared. When I saw that thing, it had the white dot on his back. I was like, “Oh no, I hate so much. I don’t want to be allergy.” That’s that’s that’s a no. What is this? So even even if it’s installed, you never know. What’s this? Is like a shoe box down here. What the hell? Oh, it’s a battery. Oh, the battery wasn’t There we go. Um, always make sure you don’t throw things away. I’m guessing everything I need is in the shoe box. Oh, guys, if we are in California or in the Dana Point area, we’re going to be going to that Legacy in Motion party with Super 73 at their new location right there in Dana Point. And that’s going to be this Saturday. And it starts at 11 a.m. There’s going to be a few rides. There’s going to be a giveaway for for a Lagoona, an S2 Lagoona, and it should be a good time. I’m wondering if the old 73 battery works with it. And I’m pretty sure they’re using different different cells or some kind of different technology in these batteries. So, I’m not sure if it would work or not. Definitely a lot lighter than the 20 A battery. Boom. Just remember when you guys unbox it, pull it out, just get it to the charger right away. Let’s see what kind of charger we got. So many boxes. Here we go. These are the other boxes that fell on my guitar. Some spacers. Are they on there? What is it? They’re like the little brick spacers. They usually like on the bike if they’re if the tires not on. But they’re on there and we’re good. Frame frame looks good. You guys remember we uh we’ve had some disaster footage before, but it looks like this frame came out really, really nice. Actually, no scratches, nothing. That’s awesome. I’m hope I’m going to beat the heck out of this motor. I’m going to see how this thing works out. You guys know we went through the V1 and V2 and we got to the V3 motor and the V3 motor has lasted ever ever since. Alec Pezvino, did you ever do a review on the Goat Motor V3? On the motor? Yes, I did. Uh I forget how long ago that one was. That might have been like 6 months ago. Just look up uh the name of the bike in Shredding Skate. You’ll find a video for show. Score Pro TV. I just wanted to strip this down to make sure everything looks good. I scooted said 10 amp hour. Did the rest of the battery get lost in the mail? Right. I got a 20 a hour back there. I’m not sure if it’ll work. It’s for a 48 I think. I’m pretty sure this is 48 volt. It’s for the RX. Let me see if I can get back here for a second. Iceude said, “It looks like a beautiful bike, but it seems like a high price point compared to other ebikes.” Would that be bad if I do this, bro? Bro, I got two batteries. Let’s go. Yeah. So, I got a 30 amp hour Laguna S2. Let’s freaking go. When I turn it on, it just like Get some blows up. Scorboard TV. Let’s go. I didn’t think that was going to work. I thought they might have had like different uh, you know, different setup, but brakes looked better than what we had on the RX. At least the levers. Make sure none of this is scratched up. I like the all black. It does look really cool. Like murdered out. Batman. Yeah, it looks awesome. That looks really cool. I wonder if I got the super duper app on the other phone. I feel like I do. At least that’s how the um the RX was, I will tell you. And no, I think I think that is 4.5. It does look a little bit wider on the front. The front is 20 by 4.5. And the rear is 20 by five. So yeah, the rear is a little bit fatter. Did I Did I say it the other way? It It’s the same on the RX as this right now. Actually, I have the Huntsman tires on there. Let’s get everyone a better look at the bike. You guys see the gas’s ass shirt back there. You should be wearing it. Um, I don’t know if I can touch it. It’s It’s a white shirt and I’ve been like touching stuff and it feels like my hands are a little greasy. So, the Laguna S2, they claim a max speed of 20 miles an hour. 500 watt motor, 48 volt, 10 amp hour battery, and it seems like the old batteries do work from the RX, but I’m not sure if it’ll power it or not. Um, all right. Now, we got to get the handlebar on. Remember my 2T handlebar mission? That was a failure. All right. Does it come with Do we come with tools? We getting tools. That’s where the handlebars. Little Super 73 logo on there. Looks cool. Instructions and stuff. You guys should always read those. That’s That’s a must to read. Boom. Boom. Nothing else. Lots charger. Charger. Here we are. Open. 5 amp charger. I’m hoping. Feels heavy. 2 amp charger. So it might Well, it’s only a 10 a hour battery. Probably 4 hours of charge. We’ll see. All right, let’s get the handlebars on and we’ll get the pedals on. We’ll uh see if I got the super duper amp. We’ll see if we can update this uh to a class three or off-road. And we’ll see what the speed is too before and after. I can do it. I guess that’s a that’s an if. I scoot said, “How many bikes do you have now?” I am finally getting a storage locker for everything. Supposedly can climb up hills really good or we’re going to test that out. But everything from the S2, like same frame design and everything. Definitely waiting for like a new frame design to pop up here soon. And I’m I’m hope hoping we hear about it very very soon for sure. We’ve been rocking the same frame for a minute. So, I can do uh wheelies with uh you know, having the rear brake here. And then Oh, nice new throttle. That wasn’t like the old throttle. Hell yeah. Taking the upgraded throttle. Same old school uh display. Let’s see if it turns on. See what our charger is actually. Hit that. There we go. Half a battery. Let’s see what the speed is uh when I lift it. Can you see the the split? I’m going to tilt it. Am I going to Wait, am I shooting the back wheel? Yeah. Yep. Limiting at 20. I thought I hit 21 for a second. Brakes feel good.
