Volkswagen DOMINATES Germany’s Electric Car Market!
Has Germany fallen back in love with Volkswagen? Right now, VW owns nearly half of Germany’s EV market. 46% in the first half of 2025. That’s over 52,000 electric cars sold. Across Europe, VW Group more than doubled its first quarter EV deliveries to over 150,000 units, capturing roughly 26% market share. Meanwhile, Tesla’s slipping down to eighth place in Germany with sales plummeting 60% in June alone. Across Europe, their market share shrunk to just 0.7% in May. VW has got 13 EVs on the road, including the bestselling ID7, and a €25,000 ID2 is on the way. So, it looks like Volkswagen is back, but can they keep the lead, or will Tesla make a surprise comeback?
