The New Kingbull Literider 2.0, The Best Priced Folding Ebike!
It wants to go fast. Comfortable, comfortable ride. You got to show me how much you want to get up this hill. Do you want to see how fast she’ll go? 28 29 zoom position 30. What you’re looking at is the Light Rider 2.0. This is an electric folding bike. It’s an allterrain bike. It is from Bull and it is in a gorgeous green color. Look at that. Okay, before we get into the specs, here’s what you get. This is the nicest tool kit I’ve ever received with an electric bike. It’s gorgeous. It’s so compact. Everything you need is right there. You get the battery charger. They also throw in a tire pump. You have straps for your rear rack right there. You have some extra zip ties. You get mirrors if you want them. You get reflectors. And you get a bike lock. I like it. I like it a lot. So, as far as the specs for the Light Rider 2.0, This is a 750 W motor right here. 15 ampour battery with a 45 hour charge time hidden in the bike. It is painted. I love love love that. You get a 28 mph top speed. 60 mile range. This is a cadence sensor which is really really cool. You have hydraulic brakes front and back. Look at that. Yes, Siri. You get a rear rack with a 150 lb capacity. Now, the bike itself weighs 71 lb. It will hold 380 lb. That’s your max capacity right there. This is an all aluminum frame and you get a very, very big, very, very bright. I love this. I think this is going to be my favorite feature. The older you get, the more important the saddle becomes. And look how comfortable. Look at that. Love it. And we got the three buttons right here. This is your power button. There’s Oh, look at that. I have not seen a display like that. Okay, you have one, two, three, four, five levels of levels of pedal assist. We have a horn and we have Let’s check out this bright light. See, look at that. Ah, love it. So, we will spend some time on this bike and then I will take you for a ride with me. We will cruise over the streets, maybe even take it off-road a little bit because this is, like I said, all terrain. Look at the 20-in x 4 in tires right there. You get a rear light, a brake light, which is fantastic. Once we’re done riding this thing, we’ll come back and we’ll score it on fit, form, and function. Time now to give the Light Rider 2.0 a nice ride to remember. Absolutely. I think this is a good looking bike. The green color, the sparkle in the sunlight right there is gorgeous. I love love love how cushy the saddle is as well. And watch when I push down. Let me get on this. Look at the front suspension. Let me kind of aim the camera down there if I can. And if you push on it, look at that. Look at the travel. That’s going to make this ride so comfortable. So hopefully you can see the screen right here. I guess I could take off the plastic. There we go. I’m not in direct sunlight. I can kind of see what’s going on. It’s two colors basically. White and then like this tan color right here. We have one, two, three, four, five levels of pedal assist. We have the Shimano 7-speed gear system right here. You have your light and your horn right there. Okay. So, we’re in pedal assist 2. This is my throttle right here on the right hand side. Let’s just see what she offers. All right. Now, this is a foldable bike. It’s an aluminum frame. It is not carbon fiber. It’s aluminum, so it’s not going to be super heavy. And in this is we’re cruising at 14 like nothing. Let me give it a little bounce. That’s nice. It’s a good ride. 20-in tires, as you can see. Oh, the brakes are great. The brakes are really nice. Okay, let me get around the culde-sac. We’ll do some shifting. There we go. All right. Well, that’s a good that’s a nice shifter up and down. Yeah, nice and crisp. Good stuff right there. 14.7 14.6 miles an hour. It’s a pretty quiet bike, too, man. This green just sparkles. It really does. And look at the suspension. Look at the travel. Wow. Okay, now this is the part of the ride where we test out the suspension. Let’s see what it’s going to be like. I kind of let the bike tell me how fast it wants to go. This is 17 18. This bike wants to go a It wants to go fast. All right, we got some divots. Got some potholes. All kinds of imperfections in the road here. It’s really bad. Oh, okay. Good job. I’m going to I’m going to slow her down a little bit. She wants to go faster than I want to go. Comfortable. Comfortable ride. Okay. And even when the pavement is kind of beat up and dented, I can I can I still feel like Oh, do you hear the rear tire? Yeah, we can. Here we go. Okay, now this is torque hill. Let’s go to pedal assist 5. We’re in top gear, as you can see. Anything above 12 is a passing grade. And I’m thinking about raising that to maybe 13 or 14 cuz bikes, electric bikes are getting better. They’re getting more powerful. We’re at 157 149. Come on, King Bull. Come on. 1442. We’re going between 138 and 14. So, I think we’re going to stay above 12. That’s nice. 133. Come on. I can’t pedal. I can’t help you out. You got to show me how much you want to get up this hill. Come on. 134. Yeah. Now we’ll start picking up some speed. So, we stayed above 12 the whole time. So, that that’s a passing grade. This will be a great bike to go to school on. You’ve got that rear rack with a 150 lb capacity. So, if you wanted to take a friend, a light friend, you know, if you were in high school or college, you’re still kind of light when you’re in college, this would be good. And the fact that it’ll fold up is really nice. I love how that front suspension gives when you hit the brakes. So nice. See if we can catch up with this Nissan. So, even going uphill, pedaling, there it kicks on. There we go. Hi. We’ve got our cadence sensor. So, as long as my feet are turning, the bike is going to keep giving me boost. And then when I hit the brakes, it’s going to stop. Oh yeah, she wants to go. You want to see how fast she’ll go? So, this is 20. And she is throttled all the way. We’re going to go downhill and see how smooth she is at. Hopefully hopefully we hit 30. I don’t know. We’re going to find out. 24 25 26 7 27 9 28 29 Assume position 30 30 mph. We touched on it and then we dropped down 27 26 and she’s as smooth as can be. And then we’ll settle into our 20 mph top speed with the throttle. And she’s quiet. Now, the frame does look familiar. I think a lot of these bike companies will buy a frame from a company and then they put their logo on it, you know, and the colors. They’ll design the colors and, you know, it’s kind of like General Motors. You got the Cadillac, Chevrolet, Buick, you used to have Pontiac, all built off the same platform. and then just a little design difference. But it’s a good looking bike and the fact that it’s a step through. I love steproughs. I really they’re so easy to get on and off of. If you’re older, there’s no chance of you tripping and falling and bringing the bike down with you. This is comfortable. Okay, let’s do some pedaling. Let me get a little workout right here. Nice tires. They really want to keep you upright. Okay, sweet. Let’s go in through here. There we had some puddles. Nothing got on me. No water thanks to the uh fenders front and rear. Here we go. Let the car go around us. Did he turn? Yeah, he turned. Okay. This is a pretty steep hill, too. 14 13 Yeah, we’ll go through here. Now, there is a hum from the tires. That’s not bad at all, though. I can hear that more than I can hear other tires. The motor itself is pretty quiet. This is a comfortable bike. I can raise the handlebar if I wanted to. I could raise the seat. I just kind of guessed where I wanted to uh sit on this thing and it’s a really comfortable position. But if you wanted to raise the seat and the handlebar, you could do that. You could be tall and ride this bike. Absolutely. And I really like it when they hide the the battery in the frame and then they paint it to match, which is a super nice touch. A very nice detail. Sometimes on these, if you can see right here on the welds, they will sand those to make them smooth. They didn’t do that on this bike. That’s okay. Bikes like that usually cost a lot more. But this is comfortable. Okay, I like it. Let’s get it home. We’re going to grade it fit, form, and function. Now that we’re home, let me show you how this all aluminum frame actually folds. It goes into a very, very small dimension right here. You have the bottom lever right here. Pull this back and this will open. You have a lever right here on your handlebars. Pull this up. This will fold. And then the handlebars will come down like this. Look at that. And then you fold it in half. It’s a little squeaky. Not a big problem though. Right here. And there’s a stand that the bike will actually sit on right there. So, I guess I could move this a little bit, too. Put it right there. Here we go. And there it is. Look at that. And I guess this will become kind of like a handlebar for you. If you need to pick it up and move it somewhere, you can do so. Just like this. There you go. It is a little squeaky. I’ll give him that little WD40 would change things immensely on this thing. Now, I also want to tell you that because this is a quality bike. You don’t get a one-year warranty. You get two years. 2 years on this electric bike, which is huge. Okay, that makes a big difference in my opinion because some of the bikes don’t have the best reputation. King Bull does have a good reputation. And this is probably the third or fourth King Bull bike that I have tested and I love them all. I really, really do. Now, let’s grade it on fit, form, and function. I got to tell you, this is one tough looking electric bike. I think this is so, so, so cool. Once again, the color here, the green is fantastic. It does come in four colors. We’ll put those on the screen for you right now. When it comes to fit, form, and function, let’s go ahead and grade it. fit the way the bike was packaged, what it was like to put together. Typical bike, no problems at all putting this thing together. So, we’re going to give it an A for that form, the way that it looks. Once again, the color is fantastic. I really like this little lip right here. It’s this little detail I think is so so so cool. You have a brake light, stop light, you have the tail light, you have a headlight right here. This front suspension is so incredible. Look at that. Look at the give right there. Okay. Um, I had zero problems at all. The the shift is crisp. I just think it’s a very nice bike. Okay, so for form, we’re going to give it an A. It’s I’ve seen this frame before. Um, but it’s a good-look frame, and you add those big, thick 20-in tires to it, and it just looks tough as can be. Function, what it was like to ride. Yeah, we’re going to give it an A as well because it was a lot of fun. I wish it had a little more power, 750 watts. I just got off a bike that had 800. I could feel a little bit of the difference. But this isn’t a high-speed bike. This is a bike you’re going to fold up and you’re going to put it somewhere and you’re going to take it to school, take it to work. You can put stuff right here. 150 lbs on this. Fantastic. If you have a child you want to put on the back, you could do that. Take them to school, not have to wait in the line. drop them off at the front door, turn around, get home in just minutes. So, this will be a perfect little commuter bike for you. Um, price-wise, it’s less than $1,000 right now. So, that is a huge, huge thing.
