Welcome to the Volkswagen wind tunnel. This fan is massive, 8 m across and weighing up to 269 tons. It’s a true giant in the automotive world. Our engineers use this wind tunnel to see how air flows around our cars and how much drag it creates. And this is the control room. Just look at all those screens. Once the test kicks off, things get real. The wind can hit speeds of up to 250 kmh. So, better stay back and enjoy the show.
