2025 24 Hours of Spa | Mustang GT3 | Ford Performance
[Music] this race is a real test for the car and for the the driver we have 73 other GT3 cars the best team drivers in the world in this race alongside with us
the track is only 7 km so you have basically cars everywhere a lot of traffic
it’s quite tough because you can lose a lot of time with traffic i mean there’s 75 cars out there on the track and it’s not that there’s slower categories you know they’re GD3s and there’s a lot of stuff that’s out of your control in this race the toughest part is to stay calm stay collected it’s like a really a sprint of 24 hours and uh you need really a a huge commitment a bit of luck no issue at all to hope to have a good result at the end [Music] did this solid race we were like P7 or whatever we’re taking no risk at all and just waiting for the last hours of the race and yeah unfortunately a let’s say over motivated maneuver of a competitor took us out of the race and that’s how racing sometimes goes we’re running last car was mega could do good laps and then suddenly like we had a mechanical issue on the car and we had to retire the car 15 minutes before the end so uh great to see that the the end the race ending like this because we had the potential to be on the podium
HRT Ford Performance continued its quest of 24-hour endurance races with the 24 Hours of Spa. Mustang GT3 has competed in three consecutive 24-hour races in the month of June, which also included Le Mans and Nürburgring.
