I Bought The CHEAPEST Moped E-Bike On TEMU | OUXI V8 Unboxing And Review
okay so does anybody want to guess where I bought this box labeled Teeu from and does anybody want to guess what is inside this box labeled Teimu well if you guessed the cheapest moped style ebike off of Teeu then you would be correct my friends now as the world knows us Americans love our cheap stuff off of the internet and Teeu enables that addiction for most people and one day I asked myself I wonder what the cheapest moped style ebike is like that’s off of Teimu and this is it right here the Uchi V8 the cheapest moped style ebike that I could find off of Teeu and off the bat I’m already pretty impressed because they give us Mag wheels with name brand Kenda Crusade tires i’ve seen bikes that cost way way more than this with cheap no-name tires and spoked wheels they also give us this awesome looking brown seat and you can see this is in fact the Uchi V8 says it right here and the battery also reminds us that this is the Uchi V8 they give us keys and some key fobs here so I think this bike has a security system on it and we will use these keys to take the battery off of the bike so this is a 48vt 15 a hour battery not bad for the price and this being one of the cheapest bikes off of Teeu they also give us a 2 amp charger so it should take about 7 and 1/2 hours to charge up this battery from completely dead they also give us some foot pegs for this bike because it comes with a color matching rear seat that you can attach on there that is a really cool feature on a cheap bike and would you look at that they give us a free air pump included you know what we do to these around here and we will get our front wheel installed here really simple just drops right in and this is a relatively light bike i mean there’s not really too much to it we also don’t have the battery installed yet they also give us a really standard basic ebike headlight all right so we got pretty much everything assembled on the V8 and I say pretty much everything because there is that rear rack that they include on here but I don’t think I’m going to put that on right now i’m not going to have anybody on the back i’m not going to be carrying anything and it’s kind of a pain to put on so I might put that on later but for now we’ve got pretty much everything else assembled on the V8 so let’s fire this thing up they’ve got a battery switch that you can flip on then you just hold down the power button and it comes to life we can turn our headlight and tail light on as you guys can see it’s a pretty standard ebike headlight it’s good enough for riding around at night on this bike we do have cable brakes which should not surprise you for the price of this thing hydraulic brakes would be a good upgrade though we’ve got a nice comfortable seat on here it’s pretty squishy and is really really thick so it should be good since you might have noticed this thing is missing rear suspension on here this is a hard tail bike so the fact that it has a nice seat and these 20×4 in fat tires it’s going to help absorb those bumps pretty standard display i’ve seen this on other bikes like the Ridar Q20 even comes with built-in turn signals and as you guys can see it’s on the rear only and the rear does act as a brake light also and a tail light got a really loud horn and we’ve got some sort of like security system on here i’m not exactly sure how it works i’ll hit unlock and then I’ll hit lock and it just seems like it’s sort of a panic button when you hit the lock button and then there’s like a lot of different alarms on this thing and then I’ll hit the power button here i don’t really know what it’s doing yeah it’s kind of annoying uh I don’t really understand it you know if I move the bike around or shake it it doesn’t really go off or do anything so not exactly sure what that alarm system is for maybe it’s just like a panic button in case you see somebody stealing your bike but yeah I’m not totally sure what the alarm system does on this thing turn signal still going on there is no beep or indication on the display you just got to remember to turn it off when you’re done we got a really simple remote pad here for our display just up down and power and if you hit up and down you can get into the P settings menu and if you press the power button you can see we’ll go through the menu you have your odometer trip uh voltage current and the time that the bike’s been on doesn’t look like the current actually functions on this display looks like they also give you bolts here in case you want to put a front rack on this thing and this is where your foot pegs are going to go for your passenger on the back and then this is your Shimano 7-speed shifter here and one nice thing about this is you actually get a plastic chain guard there so it’ll help prevent you uh the chain slapping around or knocking the chain off on accident we’ve got our controller box up here below the seat and then the same kind of Crusade 20×4 in fat tires here on the rear this is how I look standing next to the V8 and this is a pretty tall bike here if you’re a shorter rider you’re probably not going to be able to flat foot this also the seat is like really wide and it’s not letting my legs kind of I can’t really put my legs together kind of got to have my legs spread out so I can I can definitely reach this bike fine but I’m not like completely flatfooting it and I’m again 5’9 with a 31 in inseam here but seems like it’s got a good amount of power here on the rear hub motor and uh you know brakes feel good everything’s laid out really nice this seat is nice and squishy and should be pretty comfortable for longer rides i’m trying to pedal backwards here but again this seat is pretty wide so it’s not going to be super comfortable to be pedaling this thing so I guess now would be a good time to discuss price on this thing this is Teeu after all so you should be getting a pretty good deal pretty much bare minimum bottom of the barrel pricing here so without further ado this bike cost $572.81 with shipping out the door that’s what it costs so that’s a pretty good deal that’s definitely the cheapest moped style ebike that I’ve ever bought i’ll show you guys the receipt here too you can see what I paid and I did have to pay sales tax on there and you can get this thing in black or brown seat color the frame is just black and they don’t really say too much about the specs on this thing says 740 W motor uh 48 volt 15 A removable battery seven speeds so we already know that stuff i’m not exactly sure what the peak on this motor would be i guess I could look at the Uchi website and everything and see but I’m assuming it’ll be like 1,200 watts to 1500 watts peak on this bike but I mean it feels pretty good so far you know it’s that’s actually pretty peppy man so these cheap ebikes uh you can get a lot of bike for not a lot of money you guys saw my Amazon video where I bought that bike for like two-30 bucks and I got a ton of bike for the money um obviously that was kind of a more uh foldable smaller not necessarily my style bike but this is definitely my type of bike right here i would like some rear suspension on this thing but I would definitely ride this thing around all day long just based on how it looks and everything and for 572 bucks come on you get this really really cool looking bike and you get that rear rack that I didn’t even install on here so this thing is looking really cool right now and fun fact this is actually the first thing I’ve ever bought off of Teeu i’ve never shopped on Teemu before i’ve always been afraid of getting my credit card stolen on there but uh guess we’ll see about that but anyways guys uh why don’t we get this thing out of the garage and out on the road and test it out and see how our cheap Timu bike does so we’re out here checking out our cheap Timu ebike and I got to say that I’m thoroughly impressed with this thing not even because it’s so cheap but just like as an ebike man i think this thing could cost double and you’d still be able to sell it for that price this is just a crazy value that you’re getting and it’s nice that it came unlocked out of the box as well brakes they’re not the strongest but they’re definitely plenty for what this bike’s capable of i’m actually really impressed with how this thing feels without rear suspension like I just hit that bump and I felt fine now it probably would have been softer with some rear suspension but it really didn’t feel bad there i I I didn’t feel like it shook me too much this seat absorbs so much of the shock from when you go over a bump and I think the combination of that and the fat tires in the back are helping out smooth that ride out but we’re going to go over here do a little off-roading on this bike and this obviously isn’t going to be an off-road bike really cuz we don’t have a rear shock on this thing but I mean if you just want to take it on some light grass like this it’s really not bad at all um you can hear in my voice I’m getting shaken around a little bit but that’s because I like to go fast off road but you know if you’re just chilling at like 15 miles an hour or something it’s a lot more manageable and I am just still shocked at how much that rear seat absorbs these these bumps on here you might hear a little bit of rattling around that’s just the keys i kept the keys with me cuz I don’t know how the security system works i didn’t want it to be going off on me out in the middle of riding this thing and then have everybody looking at me so I brought the keys with me but that’s what’s rattling around but really this is a nice ride on this bike for for what it is considering that it has no rear shock brake levers feel really firm i did adjust them a little bit on the little nut right here well what a cool little bike just for tearing off some Oh there’s a stick here what a cool little bike for just riding on some nice easy off-road trails like this this is some pretty There’s some big logs and stuff around here but man this is really cool that a bike this cheap for 500 bucks can get you so much value my first ebike was the Anier bike that you guys might have seen on my channel it’s one of my first videos but that bike was like over 600 bucks and it was obviously it looked like a regular bike but it was nowhere near this feature pack didn’t have a headlight didn’t even have a screen so the fact that you can buy something like this for 500 bucks 5 600 bucks is really really crazy and it just shows you how far the ebike market has has come as I’m crashing off road there this little section back here gets pretty bumpy it’s bumpy on even bikes with suspension so it’s just insane how much value you can get nowadays in ebikes versus even just 2 years ago you know that engineer your bike had like a 300 W motor it was only 36 volts came with a 10 A battery it was bare bones but this you know you you get a 15 A battery it’s 48 volts you get headlight tail light turn signals a full display you get a good top speed which we’ll talk about in a second but you know this thing is just probably one of the best value bikes I’ve I’ve ever ridden as long as it holds up and everything like this should not be a bad bike at all oh and you get the alloy wheels you don’t even have to deal with the spoked wheels alloy wheels look a lot better they are a little bit heavier but they they are better you don’t have to worry about them breaking and stuff they typically are more durable than spoke wheels even though I personally have never had a problem with spoked wheels this bike is just so valuep packed it it really is uh kind of blowing my mind how value packed this this thing these two things would put this bike over the top if it had it hydraulic brakes and a rear shock then you know even if it was like 50 or 80 bucks more like that still would be an amazing value probably one of the cheapest moped style bikes with those features and I’m not even going to really knock it for not having that stuff because it’s 500 bucks 5600 bucks for an ebike is just crazy you shouldn’t be expecting to get all the crazy stuff on a bike that inexpensive so let’s do our hill test here again I’m not sure the peak rating of this motor um I’m assuming it’s like at least 1,000 probably more like 12,300 maybe 1500 uh I don’t think we’re going to make it up this hill without having to assist the bike but you know we might as well see and now over these huge bumps this is an ungraded surface down here yeah these bumps are killing me but yeah we’re having to help this bike out go up the hill sideways so definitely not a uh a super good hill climber but you know again for the price what more could you ask for this is a road bike especially without the rear shock i would go around this normally but I don’t want to go off-road anymore i’m kind of tired of going off-road on this thing it’s It’s getting a bit bit so what do you say we do a quick 0 to 20 test we will go over to our tree here and we’re in a pretty decent headwind so we’re not going to get the absolute fastest time but we’re on a mostly full battery here we only got 3 miles on the battery so 3 2 1 let’s go and with this it really really eases you into the power this spinometer is not accurate by the way we’re going off the GPS here 16 17 18 19 20 pepy little bike man it’s definitely way faster than my first ebike the way this controller is tuned it really eases you into the power like it really really eases you into the power it’s almost kind of funny how much it eases you into the power because it just when you take off there’s nothing nothing and then it kind of kicks you back a little bit really eases you into the power it’s not going to throw you back and and uh really put you in a dangerous situation so going down the bump here you know not bad for for no suspension in the rear i I am super impressed with how the back of this bike feels with no shock on city streets though this is where this bike is at home you do have knobbyby tires on this thing but if you’re going to ride this thing mostly on the street I would definitely switch it out with some good uh CST road tires or something like that because these knobbies they’re a bit loud and they’re just not the the best for being on the road this speedometer it says we’re going 31 but on our GPS it says we’re going 27 so this thing definitely is locked at about 28 i think what they have it on is they just have the wheel size set so that it says 32 on the screen but the wheel size is wrong so the speedometer is wrong so it really only goes up to 28 m an hour there’s a dog chasing me man so anyways yeah the that was crazy i tried to change the uh wheel diameter in the P settings menu but it wouldn’t let me it’s I don’t know if it’s password locked or what but you can’t Oh no didn’t sound good that’s another thing that I noticed about this bike is that all the settings are locked on it even to be able to change the the top speed on this thing to unlock it luckily mine came unlocked out of the box but uh you do have to put in a password if you want to unlock this thing fully and it doesn’t come unlocked out of the box and that’s going to be on the internet you can literally just Google how to unlock the Uchi V8 and it’ll tell you i’ve been meaning to check this bike out for literally probably a year and a half 2 years now people were for a long time comparing this to the Ridar and now a lot of other affordable bikes have entered the market and th this is still a really really good value for the price especially um as far as like the Ridar though it it can’t keep up with the quality and everything the Redstar feels better quality you get more features on it but as far as just uh as far as just like a $600 ebike like this this is awesome because the Ridar is like at least $300 to $500 more than the V8 here it’s looking like we’re sagging down to about half battery here according to our onboard battery thing um our voltage is saying about 46 49.7 we’re probably around a 60 70% battery on here we’ve gone how many miles 5 miles on our ride so far it’s crazy that you could pick up two of these bikes and still be cheaper than a lot of entrylevel you know bikes for like 1,100 1,200 bucks now you can get two of these so you can ride around with a friend for the amount of of one ebike typically we got a cat up here on the road i wanted to pet him but he’s scared so pedaling this bike I’m really not going to pedal this thing i I had pedal a little bit on that hill earlier but I I’m not going to sit here and and pedal this bike really i I’ll knock it down into like pedal assist too the seat is so wide that I can’t really comfortably put power down it it just doesn’t feel right my the back of my legs are kind of hitting this seat and it’s going to really mess your legs up if you’re trying to pedal this thing for a long time so do not buy this bike thinking that you’re going to pedal it that is not what this thing is made for really really surprised that they were able to get you Kenda tires name brand tires on this bike for the price there’s bikes that have been double as much as this one and I haven’t had name brand tires on it so it it’s and alloy wheels for that matter too so it’s it’s amazing that they can give you that at this price point here seating position everything feels pretty good i’m kind of sitting upright right now i’m kind of at like a mid mid level where the handlebars are at i’m in a comfortable position my my arms are are fine they’re not like up too high or down too low i’m not hunched over really this is a really comfortable riding position and this seat is awesome it It is the thickest ebike seat it’s thick with seven C’s not just two C’s it’s thick with like 10 these brakes are getting a little are a little squeaky that’s okay man this bike only cost us 572 bucks if you need cheap transportation not just something that’s the absolute cheapest but if you want something that’s still really affordable and looks cool this should definitely be on your list and you know I see a lot of people in my comment section and everything talking about oh such and such bike is only 450 bucks and it goes 35 mph or 40 mph whatever look first of all you’re not factoring in shipping shipping on that is going to be like 300 bucks and you always see it on Amazon you see the bike’s like 400 or 500 bucks but then the shipping brings it up to like 7 $800 plus and sales tax and everything on top of that too it’s not a fair comparison and then if you go to the manufacturer’s website of that bike then they’ll be charging uh you know 7 or 800 bucks but they’ll give you free shipping so it’s all just marketing it it it’s really all just marketing on Amazon the big thing is getting a really low price and then you you throw in that shipping cost on top of them and you’re kind of you’re not tricking people but it just makes it look better when it’s listed at you know 450 bucks and then you add in $300 shipping now all of a sudden it’s $750 total so anyways my point is I always see people talking about how there’s these bikes for you know 4500 bucks that are really good and you they’re better than the Ridar they’re better than this and better than that but I think this is probably the first one that I’ve seen that legitimately is uh it can keep up with more expensive bikes and it’s way way way more affordable and it legitimately is like 572 bucks they don’t tack on a bunch of extra costs they have to obviously charge you sales tax and stuff i am really enjoying this bike you know I was kind of nervous about it since it didn’t have rear suspension but the ride on this thing has been super super comfortable you know I’m not really missing the rear shock on this thing there’s a lot of bikes that I ride that don’t have rear suspension where I’m like you know it’s cool and everything but I would never daily drive that thing but this it gives you a lot more uh a lot more cushion a lot more support and I could genuinely say if this was my only bike it wouldn’t really be that much of a compromise and not have the rear shock on here finishing up our ride here the Uchi V8 this thing is sick for 570 bucks man I I really can’t think of a better deal on a moped style ebike than that and anything cheaper than that would be kind of suspicious in my opinion 572 bucks shipped is crazy and you’re just getting so much bang for the buck with this bike really the only two things that I wish it had like I said earlier was the rear suspension and the hydraulic brakes but you can swap out the brakes for hydraulic brakes at any point the front suspension feels good the seat is really really comfortable i’ve done about 15 miles on this you know top speed of 28 mph you got built-in headlight built-in tail light turn signals you got your horn and twist throttle like this thing just has everything that bikes two three times its price has and it gives it to you for 570 bucks off of Teeu you can buy the Uchi V8 in like 50 different places it’s all over the place alibaba uh Tik Tok shop Teimu you buy on Amazon it’s everywhere man this is not hard to find this bike this is actually a surprisingly awesome bike i’m really impressed by this thing and I I actually do recommend it if you’re just looking for something cheap to get around on a really fun ride out here on my Teimu moped eBike all right guys that is it for today i want to thank you so much for
