The biggest reason not to get a Hero Destini 125 is that you ride solo often, and this scooter always prefers you to be two-up. The suspension tune and no preload adjustment are the biggest issues with the Destini. The Hero is bouncy, jittery and unsettled on anything but good roads. It’s noticeably worse than most other scooters. UNTIL you add a pillion. Then it’s actually rather good. This means that if you ride two-up around the city more often than not, do not discount the Hero. You can easily do better if you’re a solo flyer. Second, the Hero service network is another big reason to skip the Destini 125. It’s crowded, you have to wait, and it’s not the most pleasant of experiences. Third reason? The design – we’re not sure everyone will like it.
