Luxury Car Tax MUST Change and Why I won’t buy an EV !
I need to get this off my chest. The Expensive Car Vehicle Excise Duty Supplement, better know as the Luxury Car Tax is currently set at £40,000. If you buy a car who’s list price goes above this amount then you will need to pay £3,100 over the first 6 years of ownership in Vehicle Excise Duty !
I also wanted to explain why I have not bought an electric car when I often review cars and say how good they are !
