Next-gen Toyota RAV4 Plug-in Hybrid: What We Know & Expect
The next-generation Toyota RAV4 Plug-in Hybrid is expected in 2026 with significant updates.
Toyota is anticipated to adopt a bold new design featuring a hammerhead front end, C-shaped LED daytime running lights, honeycomb-patterned bumper, and sleeker rear lamps.
Unique badges, chrome detailing, and special 19-inch wheels should set it apart from other versions.
Inside, a redesigned dashboard with a floating infotainment screen, upgraded Toyota Audio Multimedia, a fully-digital instrument cluster, panoramic glass roof, digital rearview mirror, and premium sound system are expected.
Comfort features such as heated seats, wireless charging, a gesture-controlled tailgate, and a 360-degree camera should enhance practicality.
It will likely retain the 2.5-liter ‘Dynamic Force’ engine, paired with improved electric motors and battery, delivering over 300 horsepower, about 42 miles of EV range, and approximately 40 mpg combined.
Pricing is expected around USD 45,000, with an announcement anticipated in late 2025 following the hybrid and gas models.
