Could be either or; it’s possible it was just installed and they kept the body piece(s) off for the time being in case it needs to be adjusted or dropped back off the car or anything. It’s also possible it’s intentional as I have seen folks with intentionally missing body panels and bumpers before, also.

i would assume work in progress.

The existing bumper is probably being modified or they’re waiting on a custom one
Threewisemonkey
That looks on purpose – especially with the mounted license plate and bolt on fenders, roof things, side mirror and race car Pegasus
Rich guys cyberpunk rally build, likely started as an alternative to repairing body damage
Pistonenvy2
if it is intentional it looks stupid because the entire rear of the car is still stock, people leave their bumper off on cars like this where they have a bunch of custom shit like turbos and exhaust components because they want to show them off, this is just a sports car thats missing the bumper lol
i would give them the benefit of the doubt if not for those front flares. if they thought that looked good i would not be surprised they thought leaving the bumper off looked good too.

Can anyone tell if the exhaust work is custom/aftermarket?
Personally not the most knowledgable around Porsche.
If so, work in progress

Kinda just looks clapped tbh

People take their rear bumpers off to show usually a really fucking cool muffler setup or a rear turbo setup usually on a rear/mid engine car such as this Porsche
k_clouty
Can be extra big turbo installs ?
Shitteh_Kitteh
Maybe he/she got tired of melting their bumper.
manhatim
Is that a Tesla?
lhturbo
It’s work In progress… here’s how you can tell, it’s got unpainted wider front fender add ons, rear tires sticking out way too far for stock, so you can assume wider rear fender add ons are not installed yet, and rear bumper also probably aftermarket that’s wider to match the rear addons. So id say he’s mid installing body kit addition and driving the car in the meantime.

Just drift car things…you wouldn’t understand.

This car is modified and the bumper ski no longer fits without being a fire hazard. Like everything else, it’s a work in progress. That said there are a couple of cars that require you to choose between big turbos and rear bumpers.
