AFTER (img. 1): Redesign after ripping the two 2.0 L TFSI inline-4s in it and replacing them with two 3.6 L-stroked VR6s capable of 1,800 hp each (detuned to 1,500 hp currently). A video can be found explaining that the two automatic gearboxes linked together can simultaneously be in different gears while the driver is hurtling down the strip in a compact car at speeds necessary to escape a black hole.

BEFORE (img. 2): Original build at peak performance. Half the max power of the new car with two 2.0 L TFSI inline-4s each producing 900 hp for a total of 1,800 hp. Car was capable of 8.7 s or better in the quarter mile. The new build retains one of the original unique features, which was tbe ability to have front, rear, or both engines running for front-, rear-, or all-wheel-drive.

Those are some snails. Of course they got rid of the body panels, they don’t fit anymore.

Does this thing count as twin turbo?

This is madness. A sub 9 second car and they went and doubled the horsepower‽
