Fat rims look good but the fun wears off as soon as they start bouncing off the guards. Don’t be a pavement princess, keep it usable.

You didn’t even mention what you DO with the car? If it’s a daily commuter, then keep the wheel and tire specs close to stock. If it’s a track car, then set it up for more grip with a wider tread patch. Essentially, buy a wheel and tire package based on how you intend to drive the car. It’s not a tough decision to arrive at man?

If you’re keeping it a daily, probably best to keep the wheels the same general size. Perhaps an 8/8.5? Wider wheels = wider tires = more $$
