These aren’t mods, but a detail, paint correction, and reupholstering the seat would transform this bad boy.

    Long travel suspension…..

Reality, mod to your needs, then your wants while always weighing the pros and cons of each to ensure you are working to an acceptable goal.

ie. Don’t focus on lift and tires and then complain about mpg due to a long commute.

Pride flag. It makes any car look cooler

  4. If you’re looking others to tell you what mods just to make it look cool, you’ll probably never be happy with it.

  5. Prancing Moose on the side? Or maybe that was another Brick. 🙂

Interior: bucket seats and center console from a Bronco or Eddie Bauer truck. (Van seats fit and are extra comfy too, but you will lose easy rear seat access)

Exterior: look online for old truck and hot rod magazines from the 80s and 90s. You’ll see all kinds of mod. Lifted, dropped, capped, blinged out, slicked down, covered in lights, lots of cool paint and decal options. Custom bumpers, mirrors, and bed accessories make a big difference, as does lighting.

Get a decent radio. Take the rest and put it in NVDA where you will get back your investment at some point.

Raise the front, lower the back til the bumper is nearly on the road then tall skinny wheels with low profile tyres.

It’s a nice old truck. Wheel and tire is a nice place to start, then probably detailing, but remember not to go overboard with it. Keep it nice, enjoy it for what it is!

I had a 1989 Bronco II in this color scheme. And a 1990 F150 like this in charcoal gray. Great memories.

Mine had buckets up front with a large storage console. It was a functional and comfortable setup. So I’d recommend that if you can track them down.
