I just got this Toyota Camry from my dad and he had backed into something. The plastic of the corner of the rear bumper is pushed in and has been for years. How can I pop this out?

Maybe you could try to remove the bumper cover and push it out from the back?

Drop the rear inner fender liner, to access the back side of the bumper. Use hair dryer or heat gun to warm up the plastic bumper. Push the dent out from behind carefully and slowly. Use a tennis ball to apply pressure when pushing the dent out, to avoid creating more damage.

That one’s all over the internet. Just do what the internet says.

  4. Warm the plastic (heat gun, hot water, etc) and gently push the dent from the backside starting at the outside diameter of the dent (not the middle first).

Haha, every camry has this 😂 pour hot water over it und pop it out from underneath

  6. You’re telling me Camrys don’t just come that way from the factory? /s

You don’t. That is an iconic part of a Camry!!

You must first go to r/camrydents to seek permission to remove.

Honestly, I’d hot glue a stick to it and pull. It’s easy to take the glue off with rubbing alcohol.

You can also stick a couple hot glue sticks to it, and then pull. I’ve seen PDR guys do that

Thanks all, I got it out. I used very warm water to soften it and got in behind it (scraped the heck out of my arms though).

Take the bumper off and push the dent in from the other side

Is that just a dent or did the frame get messed up too?

Stick on suction dildo, pull. No, really.
