On a scale of 1 to 10, how much does this crash hurt you? This is a first-generation Integra Type R. Pretty rare.

   Putting the Race back in Type R. Only thing I’m disappointed in is the suspension set up letting that shortcut happen.

   On a scale of 1 to 10 that is only a 2.

   It’s fine, 4wheels off the pavement and no contact with other cars. The driver will get a warning, a safety check, & may need to pull the grass/dirt/rocks out of the underside of the car before he’s allowed back on the track. Unless the driver has a history of going off track like that then they might make him sit out the rest of the race.

   I’ve watched worse off track excursions and the driver didn’t even slow down until they flagged him off the track.

    I do believe this is a Euro 98 spec ITR.

    As for rating? Meh, not all that bad. It’s being used for what it was designed for. I’ve gone off at VIR at 100 in a PY ITR.

    Bring it in, check for damages, see if it’s ‘straight’ and send it back out.
