They weren’t huge sellers and they went off the market 30 years ago.

There aren’t many around. There never were and there are fewer left. They’re fantastic to drive. Friend of mine had a black SLC back in the day.
Yours is beautiful except for the tragic wheel/tire setup. Too much dish, stretch looks terrible. Find some OEM Speedlines.

Here in the Netherlands you see them sometimes, but even here you almost have to go to a carshow. They are for sale, ranging from 7k to around 15k. Wish we’d see them more.

I still remember Car and Driver described a VR6 Corrado as “changing lanes like a cockroach.” I wanted one ever since.
One of my favourite cars, shame there’s not many left. The 2 I know of both got writen off

Always a treat to see one! There’s one in my city that’s a shiny midnight purple purple, more purple, but still dark. She’s gorgeous!

The sad truth is most of them broke down and were stripped for parts to keep the true enthusiasts rolling down the road. It’s insane how many Corrados are abandoned after the owner graduates from college and they just sit and rot away.
I used to work for a Porsche and Volkswagen shop and Corrados were one of the rarer cars to come through and almost every time they did come through it was the same story…”I bought this car from a guy(or girl)that drove it in college and parked it when they started their career”.
