Most expensive would probably be [this](https://imgur.com/a/OSbTkdK) guy’s car collection, had an SL300 in it, a 2005 Ford GT, a porsche 356, a barn find dodge daytona, an audi R8, McLaren 570s(?), a 2018 AMG GTR, and a Datsun 240z
Edit: apparently that mclaren he had, wasn’t what I thought it was. Google lens says it’s an MP4-12C which is significantly more than I thought it was worth lol
63,000 Dollar kit on an already Expensive car, not including the rims and paint job he did. Mindblowing. [at least to me, it’s my dream car]
Dr_WHOOO
Ferrari 250 GTO with racing provenance, in cobra-esque blue with white stripes.
Had to help push it into a garage, and haven’t been that nervous about where to put my hands since I was a teenager….
Current top value of one is like… $50-60m?
Johnny_Lang_1962
1966 GT40 Ford with verifiable racing history.

I spotted a Pagani Zonda Cinque Roadster when I was in Monaco with my friend. I didn’t know it was at first until I searched it up, and I was like, “Holy shit, it’s that rare??”
RevolutionaryShip295
A Bugatti Chiron, Pininfarina Bautista, Rimac Nevera.

So not a road car for me, but I would say Michael Schumachers F2002 F1 car. So small. So powerful. The V10 days of F1 were just different.

Nothing too crazy but out in the wild I saw (2) P1s (not together, one in Dallas on the highway and the other in Boca on the road), an Alpha 8C (at a Walgreens) and a row of (5) BMW Z8s (in a mall parking lot).
reeseypuffs420
Rolls Royce spectre, spotted at roscoes in Pasadena LA car is worth $500k+ took a picture

Not expensive but rare. Only seen it twice. There is some crazy person driving around ABQ with a custom car that is an El Camino style Australian ute type vehicle BUT it is made out of C5 Corvette parts. Pretty sure it didn’t start as a corvette as the propotions are a bit wrong.

Mine was a RWB Porsche 911, it was insane to see in person. I wasn’t at a car show it was just on the road.
ItsyaboiIida
Saw a Koenigsegg ccx and a porsche Carrera GT at a ferrari dealership at Ft Lauderdale beach in florida.
TheRedRevolver
Went to a place called the vault of Scottsdale in Arizona. It is a climate controlled storage for cars and also for events. I went there for a work thing and they had catering. Was awesome walking around seeing all the vehicles. Ford GT, Ferrari F40 and many many more. Was a really cool experience.
Wild_Chef6597
Rarest? I saw one of those Trucks that Lincoln made.
Flat-Mountain3462
This custom SUV I saw one time @ sea world , I wish I would’ve took a picture of it. It would’ve semi viral if I posted it on Reddit

For me it’s a three way tie between a Koenigsegg CCXR that was next to a Pagani Huayra Roadster and the new Countach at a Lamborghini event I attended. Only a tie because they’re all over $1m so might as well be the same ball park from my financial perspective.

I saw a GT40 in person a while ago, was really cool, guy even let me sit in it.
shreditlane
I’ve seen a 917K
5trudelle
Thrust SSC 😉

Most expensive car I’ve ever stood in front of was a Koenigsegg Agera R at the 2018 New York International Auto Show. There was a Lamborghini Reventon there as well.

I think I saw a VW XL1 in a mall.
Also someone near the village I grew up had a VW _Fridolin_, a car commissioned by and used by the German federal post, those are quite rare nowadays
Toyota 2000GT. Weirdly enough it was in the parking lot of a Hot Rod show
BarnTart
Pagani Huayra back in 2012, but was as a display piece during an autoshow. More recent was a 2024 Lamborghini Huracan, while meeting the owner at a bar.
MaxxisBlitz
At the Detroit Concourse last year, I saw Enzo Ferrari’s own 250 GTO. Probably won’t ever make in my entire life what that car was worth.
Appalachian_Aioli
I work in Naples, Florida so I’m lucky.
On the road I’ve seen 918 spyders, Chirons, Ford GTs (new and old), a McClaren Senna, Ferrari F40. I could go on.
Over all, I’d say an original 300SL at a local auto show.

My personal favorite and by production numbers probably the rarest I’ve seen was [this](https://www.reddit.com/r/Kyusha/s/flOwZp5UKM) N1 R32 GTR I saw in the wild
Not oo exciting, but a guy who works at a customs garage in my town drives a Nissan GTR Spec-V With the LB Silhouette Works Widebody Kit.

Oh, and a _[Rumpler Tropfenwagen](https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rumpler_Tropfenwagen)_ but that was at a museum so not sure if it counts.
