This is my dream 04 LJ I built a couple winters ago. Done on a tight budget, with a wide variety of used, takeoff, parts I had for another Jeep and some new parts.
Stock 4.0 engine & 4 speed auto trans, Atlas 4 speed transfer case, Ford dana 60 front axle, 14 bolt rear axle. Fully skid plated underneath and full “body armor” everywhere else.
Tires are 40″ Maxxis Creepy Crawlers and the wheels are Walker Evans beadlocks.
The suspension is a modified Rubicon Express long arm, with Currie anti-rock sway bars on both ends.
The Jeep originally came from down south and has 0 rust.

I forgot to mention, this is my summer toy. I’m currently upgrading the stereo system. Body work and paint are next on the list. Another fun fact, this Jeep is a dream to drive, no death wobble, and goes 65mph down the highway all day
