Hey everyone!
I would like to ask what my best option would be for an (adjustable) coilover set for my 2012 (facelift) OPC. I see numerous options, ranging from €300,- up to €3000,-. I don’t want to go for simple lowering springs, because I’m afraid it will mess up the suspension and chassis handling. My budget cap is around 1k, because I also don’t wanna spend 3k on a suspension kit for a small hot hatch. Lowering-wise I’m aiming for 25mm front and 20mm rear, since I want to be able to use the car without having to plan my route to avoid speedbumps! The coilover set will be a 1-time install, I’m not planning on adjusting the ride height, dampening/rebound once installed.
Note: the car now has it’s stock suspension, which is just a bit too high in regard to ride height/fender gap imo. Also I think that aesthetics are more important to me then handling, since I don’t really send the car too much and are more of a detailer/enthusiast then a racer!
