My mom curbed the wheels on our car and it damaged a bit of the tire as well. I feel its quite sketchy but apparently a tire shop said it probably wont be a problem. Wanna hear some other opinions as well. Thanks!

Looks fine to me. If you want to be extra sure, pry that flap up and look if you can see belts (basically anything not rubber). If you can’t, you should be good.

It really depends on how deep that notch is. Anything in the sidewall can quickly turn problematic and is usually not repairable
