Tried to drive to work this morning and my car started to shake like crazy. Then this deep, dark, and loud sound started so I pulled over. There was this burning smell and I had recently fixed a fuse on the same side as the flat so I went to check that out. Everything looked fine until I looked down. Waited for family to come and assist, after the spare was put on they left. But then the car wouldn’t turn on. Battery was dead. A kind man came and pulled over to help me. I made it to work three hours late. My car was inspected a month ago, check your tires everyday!

I also want to add that I drive a 1999 Honda Accord. Dealership that did the inspection said that the transmission would most likely be dead by spring and they no longer make parts for cars as old as mine and it’s missing a bunch. I don’t have money for a new car or major repairs so this kinda sucks all around. I also know nothing about cars so you can imagine my panic during this entire ordeal. After what I’ve gone through today, I’ve made the decision to start teaching myself the basics.
