2024 DS7 Review UK – A car fitted with chat GPT

Channel if you’re not already subscribed then please go ahead and do that now so let’s start off by talking about what DS are very good at and that is exterior design the ds7 that I’ve been spending a couple of weeks with over Christmas is one of my favorite models it offers
Practicality with all of that DS styling now for 20203 this got a facelift to bring it in line with other products like the DS4 and that means you’ve got those very cool almost zigzag style lights at the front you still get the Lovely Crystal DS lights which have
Always been featured and you also have that lovely Dionte front grill it’s a very goodlooking car and I also think it’s very well proportioned it doesn’t look too bulbous it’s quite sleek and also on this model I love the fact that you actually have these star shaped Wing
Mirrors I don’t want to think about what they’re like to replace but they look pretty cool and it just adds a little bit of an extra element over a boring gray and black car and that’s the thing with DS to start with it just looks very
Plain but as you look closely you start to see the details the rear end of the car has also undergone some changes featuring sleer LED rear lights and a revamped bootl the crossback signature has been replaced with Ds lettering the addition of new alloy wheels enhances the overall look
Giving it a more more refined and solid appearance these updates have certainly improved the car’s stance and elevated its premium appeal I have always loved the Interiors of DS but I know a lot of others don’t share my opinion on that although I do think the best cars are controversial
The light gray watch strap leather and Sunbeam embossed dashboard brighten up the cabin and add interesting detail over Rivals and the DS signature elements like the diamond shaped window controls and the brm time piece are all present even the air vents have some twinkly little elements the infotainment
Screen has also had an upgrade so they’re used to be a smaller screen option and now there’s just this larger screen included it’s pretty good although it is rather fiddly as many new screens are you see below here you actually have some hap tick buttons and sometimes they’re a little bit fiddly to
Press and don’t always respond to your touch the climate control is unfortunately all in the screen and you will have to click the shortcut button to get it to appear it’s a little bit confusing as well sometimes my automatic heated seat comes on and sometimes it’s
A little bit too hot in here and I can’t quite understand if it’s working on an auto setting or if it’s just going a little bit crazy now let’s talk about that really really cool feature and that is that this car is run by chat GPT and it has an automated voice control
Controlled system it’s very very cool it can do things like read your children a madeup story it can tell you what the weather’s going to be like and it can even give you recommendations for your local towns let’s give it a go give me restaurant recommendations in Sudbury
Suffk I’m sorry but as a digital assistant I don’t have access to Real Time Restaurant however there are several popular restaurants in sbur that you might consider oh some options include The Secret Garden the Angel and the black boy I Rec cheing online platforms or asking locals for the most up to- dat
Recommendations let me know if there’s anything else I can assist you with okay so for a second I thought it was going to come up with nothing but it did actually give us some recommendations but how about the more practical things open my sunroof your voice assistant does not
Support the command to open the sun okay so it can’t actually do anything practical but it’s a little bit of a cool Gadget how about if you want to use your Apple carplay what then because sometimes when you press that button that’s what happens well you can either say Hey Siri
And that will wake up your Apple carplay or you can also long hold on the button this will override the chat GPT and it will go straight to your Apple carplay there is lots of lovely storage space within the cabin including a deep space in the armrest which at Christmas

Electronically the ride quality is really smooth and comfortable and this is seriously where the DS actually excels it has something called active scan suspension and this means that it adjusts each wheel for bumps and potholes however the occasional cabin jolt does still get through there’s a sport mode which is available for a
Firmer ride this turns off the active scan suspension and it makes the steering more engaging interestingly if you’re looking for a diesel family car then the ds7 might make a lot of sense with these being the most affordable models and coming in at just over £35,000 as all the petrols are now plug-in
Hybrid only these start from just over 46,000 and they come into the premium TX tax bracket however if you do have the luxury of running imp pure electric most of the time then it may end up saving you money at the pumps so I thought whilst this review
