Welcome to the high voltage Light Electric Vehicle Channel I hope everyone is having a great Christmas holiday time off whatever you do at this time of year if you’re in one of those essential service jobs or still hard at work then I salute you and I hope you get some
Time off soon this is a a fun video looking back at some of the ebikes that have been posted to the Pimp My Ride Discord Channel as well as Elsewhere on the Discord if I’ve missed you off then apologies is nothing personal if you’d like to join our Discord and post photos
Of your ride the link is in the description and honestly the more the areer hopefully you enjoy looking at these and maybe get some inspiration for your next bike build anyway in no particular order we’re starting off here with the runsten racing bike this is one
Of two so Father and Son can go riding together and it’s using one of the lightning rods Motors single stage reduction and there are just a ton of custom parts on this so much so that we’ll be giving this bike its own little feature some point early in the new year
Next up is aw AG’s rev 1 and this one has been upgraded to run dual motors with the bbsh HD upgraded suspension front and rear I really like the style of frame it’s a bit like the super 73 but more robust with room for a bigger
RAR shock uh this next one is Aztec bbsh HD with a high voltage kit this one’s pretty rapid it’s got a decent size battery in a metal case and a really nice center of gravity with the weight slung down low next up is Bernie’s Photon build the really compact nature
Of the motor means that even in like slightly less than ideal position there’s still lots of ground clearance and you’re saving a ton of money over the equivalent commercial bike from say Specialized or track some bbsh HD and bbs2 modified Jets and bolts and I really do love the
Jets and bolt there is so much you can do with them I really enjoyed writing my stock on paper they’re not much but you really really can’t help but smile when you’re riding one mine is still stock but I am on the lookout for a frame to
Modify and I might put one of the 27 dm2 Motors on and try some upgraded brakes I’m not going to dwell here too long as there are lots of videos on this bike but this one is my own 72 Vol bbsh HD if you enjoying this video um please give

Bit more on this this one was scratch built from a classic frame which car restored to its former glory and lens some this thing is an absolute Workhorse and he used it to shift huge amounts of cargo including the construction materials needed for a home extension this is drunk Punk’s Photon build it
Shows another advantage of the photon in that you can barely see it from this angle it’s hard to tell that it’s knee bike at all it’s also a good motor for on canal toe paths with them being multi-use you need a drive system with a high degree of
Control this one is faren lightning rods build really nice low center of gravity really comfy seat this one is built for riding on dirt trails and Rural roads and I really like the way the motor sits inside the frame on this one and lots and lots of custom parts including the battery
Box this is f foldable bbsh HD bike we don’t really see that many foldable bikes in the channel let alone a full suspension one this one is really well done and huge amount of work I know has gone into this build to get it looking like this uh we have fit’s bbshd with
The HV upgrades he doesn’t have many Hills where he is so he can get away with a more aggressive gear ratio as a result this one is really pretty rapid once the RPMs get up and he has some good mura brakes discs front and rear another another one here from Fitzy
Which I think he’s sold now uh it’s the super 73 style modified BBS HD again decent battery good brakes uh it’s a really cool looking bike uh we have Gilligan’s touring Fat Bike and nice big battery in there plenty of Power with the high voltage bbshd upgrades and he goes for some
Really really monster rides on this it’s a really clean looking bike with everything tied away and lots of room as well for cargo uh gr builds quite a lot of bbshd bikes and he uses the older style downhill frames and if you want full suspension with the bbsh HD getting one
Of these older frames is a really good way to go they’re really strong and can often be found pretty cheap he makes his own custom battery boxes with metal to sling underneath which keep the battery nicely protected and also give a really nice low center of gravity for the
Bike uh this one here is Hog’s Fat Bike which he built from the ground up including the the battery and the mount it’s really really nice fat bike this one is is Greg saon and he’s recently upgraded that to have the olens front forks and he reckons they’re the best
He’s tried for this kind of bike Beyond going to a more motorcycle style suspension uh we have Jay’s bbshd out in the wild doing a bit of touring with the family and for me this is where ebikes really come into their own giving people an assist to get out and about while
Still wearing regular clothes and arriving at their destination in a generally non-smelly condition uh we have Jenny’s commuter bike and this is the first build that she did with bbso2 and ladies actually quite rare in di in DIY bikes so it’s great to see this bike
And really nice build for a first bike and she’s clearly enjoying the hobby because here’s a photo of her next build and I can’t wait to see some more of this in the New Year this is js’s build with the 27 DMO 2 really nice full suspension build low
Center of gravity I’m looking forward to seeing more bikes with this new motor uh it’s torque sensor as well next year this is Carl’s custom built frame for with one of the lightning rot Motors and this is pretty incredible it’s an amazing full suspension frame scratch
Built if I’m able to do a feature on this next year I I definitely will uh we have kmt’s dual motor build here with the high voltage kit really nice mounting of the bbsh HD inside the frame and this one is left’s folding bike it’s been also modified with a B
Shd to give it some more power really good ground clearance of this one fat tires lots to like he also did this really cool looking recumbent again with the bbsh HD good siiz battery low Center gravity and full suspension it looks pretty comfy ride all around this one is
Pretty high power this is Lego man’s Hub build again like fully custom frame like built from the scratch this looks really nice it has quite a lot of power up to 18 k kilow apparently everything here is custom made to fit I particularly like the way the suspension’s been done at
The rear and the batter has been integrated into the frame uh next one is lion Lord’s bbsh HD which I think has been done on a converted BMX frame it has rear pegs so you can give your mate a ride super comfy seat looks a lot of fun to
Ride uh next one is maddox’s commuter recumbent with a bbsh HD I think the framework allows for a canopy to be stretched over for rainy and windy weather I don’t though have a photo with that in place unfortunately this one here is one of my favorites uh this is kimber’s ride she’s
Getting on a little bit in age so this is an awesome trailer and bbsh HD combo that lets us still hang out with the younger pups on longer Journeys this one is matte bike with What’s called the lightest ebike kit it’s an interesting design and we can take a close look at
This one next year if people W there doesn’t seem to be much engagement with the chain at the crank either so I’m curious to see how this works in practice we have muts rev one and I I really like this Frame uh he wants to
Add a BBS HD to this as well it’s a really nice looking bike I I I really like the look of this a lot this one I love this is Monty’s bbsh HD with the super 73 there’s actually a full feature on this one on the channel
But he’s got these awesome looking new tires now it’s a single speed setup with the High Vol kit it honestly doesn’t look like a DIY bike to me he spent huge amounts of time on this bike and it really shows and I can’t wait to see his next
Project uh we have PG Cy cx1 build and this is a really nice frame for this motor because he’s been able to mount the X1 inside the frame which is my favorite position for it and also have the controller tucked in at the bottom as well and there looks to be plenty of
Room still for a decent battery to round off a really Compact and well balanced bikee uh another CC here is Roberto’s Photon build and again you can barely see the motor and there’s lots of room here as well for a bigger battery if you wanted to and he’s basically taken an
Older frame and turned it into an ebike that’s better than any of the commercial ones that you could got for you know like5 or $6,000 Shan’s Talon with the CC stealth good ground clearance with this bike decent battery for commuting to and from work uh sleeper thon’s build here with
The BBS HD high voltage kit single speed one:1 ratio for a really great mix of acceleration climbing power and speed this Frame also has horizontal rear dropouts making it really easy to detension the chain and keep the build nice and simple uh Sparky bbshd uh is an
Old run for the channel but he gets a lot of mileage out of this bike like this one’s been going for sort of two three years I think now lots of commuting as well he also has uh a new trailer project on the go for his four-legged friend and for some longer
Range trips which is really cool uh this one here is Tim’s rebuilt cargo bike just a front hub on this right now but he’s got some plans to add some torque sensing to it next year seen this one on the channel as well this is tto’s long-range Touring bike really nice
Build huge amount of battery and cargo space he does some pretty extensive trips like over 100 kilm it’s it’s a really clean build brake lights indicators lots of things to keep him safe when he’s mixing it with traffic and this is user tw’s bbshd on a
Trip to the beach and fat bikes really are amazing for the sand particularly ebike ones uh pretty much the only bikes that can handle it when the sand start to get softer and there’s also a super 73 here that you saw that’s been modified to carry a surfboard and
Surfing gear last but not least this is Visa’s stock bbsh HD and it’s another great full suspension frame that’s still got room for a stock battery it’s a really clean and tidy build so anyway that’s it for now um huge thanks to everyone that sent the photos in of
