The side of tire is peeling back as in pic, I dont see any chords , still holding air. No bubbles. Does this need to be replaced? Tire has 5,000 miles on it so fairly new. Thank you.

If it’s not flat I wouldn’t worry about it.
No it’ll be fine, this is superficial. Put a bit of superglue in there and hold in place for 30 seconds.
