  3. These would be really amazing if they were about 5x longer and ran on some sort of fixed track. Maybe you could put some super low rolling resistance wheels on them and attach them in a long line.

    This looks like a vehicle I saw in South Korea a couple years ago, being tested on Jeju.

    The article keeps saying how the vehicle has no gas or brake pedals. And I’m like, “well, technically, no EV has a gas pedal.”

    Also technically, neither do gas-powered cars. The pedal usually adjust the throttle, which increases O2, which the computer reads from the O2 sensor and increases gas volume as necessary.

    Also, someone on another subreddit was claiming that self-driving for-hire vehicles would never work because people in wheelchairs and disabilities still need help. And here’s the solution to one of those problems.
