HARRIS COUNTY, Texas (KTRK) — A teen was struck by a vehicle while riding an e-bike in the Atascocita area, according to Harris County Precinct 4 Constable Mark Herman.
The constable’s office said the 13-year-old boy was riding in the 16800 block of West Lake Houston Parkway on Saturday night when the auto-pedestrian crash happened.
While deputies did not immediately say if the boy was seriously hurt, Precinct 4 did say he was being evaluated by paramedics at the scene.
Precinct 4 said that the driver of the vehicle remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators.
The intersection of West Lake Houston Parkway and Madera Run Parkway was shut down during the investigation, Precinct 4 said.
