BETTENDORF, Iowa (KWQC) –Visit Quad Cities will host AccelerateVQC: Pedaling Forward | How Cycling and E‑Bikes Create Connected Communities on Tuesday, Sept. 22, which is meant to bring together community leaders and residents for a free public discussion on how biking and shared mobility can strengthen regional connectivity.
The event will be held from 3:30 to 5 p.m. at the Quad Cities Waterfront Convention Center and is set to feature insights from business leaders, planners, elected officials, tourism partners, parks professionals and educators.
Attendees will also see live demonstrations of e‑bike sharing equipment and learn how similar communities are using cycling infrastructure to improve mobility and guide future investment.
The session is designed to help residents understand how cycling and e‑bikes can support transportation access, community development and long‑term planning across the Quad Cities.
AccelerateVQC is free and open to the public. The venue is located at 2021 State Street, Bettendorf.
