MG Hector Tomahawk EV Real-World Range Test! 517 KM claimed — but how much can this 69.2 kWh electric SUV actually deliver on Indian roads?
We took the MG Hector Tomahawk EV through a real-world drive in Kochi, Kerala, covering highways, coastal roads, plantation valleys, forest stretches, narrow countryside roads and challenging uphill and downhill Ghat sections.
MG claims 517 km of range from the Tomahawk EV’s 69.2 kWh battery. During our drive, we tracked battery percentage, distance travelled, efficiency and projected range at multiple stages of the journey. MG officially notes that real-world range can vary depending on driving style, terrain, air-conditioning use, load and road conditions.
Our best recorded efficiency was 13.1 kWh/100 km, which corresponds to a calculated range of approximately 528 km from the battery capacity.
But there’s an important question:
Does that mean the MG Hector Tomahawk EV can actually deliver 528 km in the real world?
