The Forthing range arrives in Australia with the new Taikon 5 EV (aka Forthing BEV) and this, the new Taikon 5 REEV (aka Forthing Range Extender Hybrid).

This one — the Range Extender EV, REEV, or Range Extender Hybrid, or PHEV — is the better of the two. It isn’t perfect, but it makes a pretty valid case on affordability for budget-conscious buyers, and the EV-only range is amazing at 170km WLTP.
The interior space is decent, and the features list is long.
