The man was stopped on Gailes Way at 3pm on Wednesday, September 9 by officers from North Ayrshire’s Priority Policing Team.
He was arrested for a number of road traffic offences and drug offences and the bike was seized.
A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
Earlier this week, a teenager was reported to the Procurator Fiscal for traffic offences after police seized two electric motorbikes from an Ardrossan home.
Around 7.30am, officers from Saltcoats Locality Policing Team executed a search warrant in the town’s Ailsa Gardens in relation to various road traffic offences.
Police said officers had received reports of electric motorcycles being driven dangerously in the areas of Glasgow Street, Stanley Road and South Beach.
