The three-day event will feature the Jetour G700 PHEV, following a similar showcase in Lagos. The move comes as Nigeria’s automotive market gradually shows increased interest in alternative powertrain technologies, including hybrid and electric vehicles. The G700 is a six-seat sport utility vehicle powered by Jetour’s Kunpeng Super Hybrid system and dual electric motors. The manufacturer claims a combined driving range of up to 1,400 kilometres.

The SUV is fitted with adaptive suspension and triple differential locks, and its reported 970mm wading depth is designed to enable it to operate in difficult terrain. The vehicle also features a 35.4-inch 3K panoramic display, Nappa leather upholstery, massage seats, an 18-speaker Lexicon sound system and an onboard refrigerator.
