Spanish electric motorcycle brand Velca has introduced the Vortex Black Edition, a limited run of 30 units marking the more than 180 standard Vortex models already sold in Spain. The edition was announced on Velca’s blog in April 2026. It is a blacked-out variant of the existing Vortex platform, with no changes to performance specifications. As of publication, reservations remain open.

Pricing and reservation
The Vortex Black Edition is priced at €7,290. A €600 refundable deposit secures a reservation, with no additional conditions attached. The price includes an exterior kickstand (€49), a rear seat backrest (€39), a single-seat cover panel (€39), and a numbered Black Edition commemorative plate.

Licensing
The Vortex Black Edition is homologated as an L3e (125cc-equivalent) motorcycle. In Spain, it can be ridden with an A1 motorcycle license or a car license (B) held for at least three years.
