All New 2027 Ford Fathom revealed – First Look and Details
Have a look at the all new 2027 Ford Fathom.
Ford has unveiled the Fathom, a new midsize electric pickup truck that will start at $28,350 and is expected to arrive in 2027.
The Fathom will be the first vehicle built on Ford’s Universal Electric Vehicle Platform, part of the automaker’s effort to produce electric vehicles at lower costs while still offering modern technology.
Despite its relatively low price, Ford says the truck will include a large touchscreen with Apple Maps navigation, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a digital key and bidirectional power capability. The company also says the Fathom is expected to offer generous passengers space.
The base version will come with one electric motor on the rear axle and with a compact LFP battery pack. Although Ford didn’t release technical specs, rumours say it has a capacity of around 60 kWh, enough to deliver a range of approximately 220 miles.
A more powerful dual motor version is going to be available later, targeting a 0-60mph acceleration time of 4.5 seconds.
Ford is positioning the Fathom as an important step in making electric vehicles accessible to a wider range of drivers.
Preorders are scheduled to begin in early 2027, with the truck expected to reach customers later that year.
