At RMD Powersports, there is no single motorcycle that is right for every rider.

That’s why the Gunnison dealership has expanded its lineup to include Stark Future, a Barcelona-based manufacturer of high-performance electric off-road motorcycles.

For RMD owner Lane Kersting, becoming a Stark dealer was less about choosing one type of motorcycle over another and more about giving riders another way to experience the outdoors.

“We don’t believe there’s one perfect motorcycle — we believe there’s a perfect motorcycle for every rider,” Kersting said.

Stark’s current lineup includes the VARG MX motocross motorcycle, VARG EX street-legal enduro and dual-sport model, and VARG SM, designed with a supermoto and street-legal focus. The bikes offer a different riding experience, with instant torque, customizable power delivery, quiet operation and low maintenance.

Rather than replacing traditional motorcycles, Stark expands the options available to riders. RMD continues to proudly offer brands including Sherco, Beta, CFMOTO and Arctic Cat, recognizing that each serves different riders, riding styles and applications.

Kersting said gas-powered motorcycles remain a great choice for long-distance adventures and many off-road applications, while Stark provides another exciting option for those looking for a new way to ride.

That variety is especially valuable in the Gunnison Valley, where riders can explore destinations such as Hartman Rocks and Taylor Park, along with countless miles of Forest Service roads and trails.

Whether someone prefers a two-stroke, four-stroke, side-by-side, ATV or electric motorcycle, RMD’s goal remains the same: helping people find the machine that fits them and get outside to enjoy the area’s incredible riding opportunities.

With Stark now in stock, RMD Powersports is continuing its commitment to putting riders first — offering more ways for customers to find the right machine for their adventures.
