I finally decided to buy one of Amazon’s best-selling folding electric bikes, the URLIFE T5, and in this video I explain exactly why.

I wasn’t looking for the fastest or the most expensive e-bike. I wanted something that could fold small enough to fit in the boot of my car, allowing me to take it virtually anywhere without needing a bike rack or trailer.

Another feature that was absolutely essential for me was a removable battery. That wasn’t just for convenience—it was because I wanted to remove the battery for charging as part of my own personal safety routine.

Alongside the bike I also purchased a dedicated battery charging safety bag. For me personally, this is an essential part of owning any lithium battery. Whilst no product can guarantee protection from a battery failure, I believe in taking sensible precautions by:
✔ Charging the battery in a suitable location.
✔ Never charging it while I’m asleep.
✔ Never leaving it charging unattended.
✔ Inspecting the battery regularly for any signs of damage.
✔ Using a charging safety bag as an additional layer of protection.
