The five-seat variant of the Zeekr 9X full-size plug-in hybrid SUV was launched in China at 471,900 yuan (69,745 USD). This high-end 5.2-meter model boasts a 70 kWh battery and up to 1,030 kW (1,381 hp) of power. It is worth noting that the six-seat version of the Zeekr 9X previously entered global markets.
The five-seat variant of the Zeekr 9X is considered a luxury variant of the model. It is offered with three trim levels: Ultra, Hyper, and Obsidian Black. The Ultra variant is available with two battery options for 55 and 70 kWh. At the same time, the six-seat version of the 9X could also be purchased in the Max version. So, the five-seat variants of the Zeekr 9X are 14,000 yuan (2,070 USD) cheaper than the same trims of the six-seat modification. The five-seat model aligns with the six-seat version in terms of exterior styling. It offers hefty dimensions of 5239/2029/1819 mm. The wheelbase reaches 3,169 mm. However, it could be distinguished by the new brown-ish exterior color.
The five-seat Zeekr 9X
The five-seat Zeekr 9X’s cabin offers two rows of seats wrapped with Nappa full-grain leather. The rear passengers have 1.4 meters of legroom. Side rear seats are equipped with power leg rests, zero-gravity mode, heating, massage, and ventilation functions. There is also a ceiling-mounted screen, 32 Naim-branded speakers, a built-in fridge, a 6.5-liter storage compartment, and two wireless phone charging pads.
The dashboard of the five-seat Zeekr 9X comes standard with two 16-inch screens. However, one of those displays can be removed to save 5,000 yuan (740 USD). The center console adopts two wireless phone chargers, a block of physical buttons, and a hidden compartment. A gear shifter sits behind the steering wheel. At the same time, the Zeekr 9X is equipped with G-ASD G-Pilot H7 & H9 assisted driving systems.

The Zeekr 9X offers 1,082 liters of trunk space as standard. With the rear seats folded down, this number reaches 2,472 liters. Thanks to a dual-chamber air suspension, the rear end of the Zeekr 9X could be lowered to ease the loading process. The rear seats could be adjusted via buttons in the trunk.
This SUV comes standard with a plug-in hybrid system, which comprises a 2-liter engine and a couple of electric motors. The combined power output of the system is 660 kW (885 hp). Two battery options are available: 55 kWh for 300 km EV range (CLTC conditions) and 70 kWh for 380 km EV range. There is also a tri-motor trim with a combined peak power of 1,030 kW (1,381 hp). It runs up to 355 km on a single charge.

According to China EV DataTracker, Zeekr delivered 45,731 units of the 9X crossover. This model’s cumulative deliveries surpassed 65,000 units, topping the high-end SUV segment for seven consecutive months.
