A crash involving an e-bike happened on Apex Peakway near Branch Line Drive around 1:30 Saturday afternoon.
Apex police said they believe the person riding the bike was a teenager, but they were not on scene when police arrived.
Officers are trying to locate the rider, and administer any aid necessary.
Police did not provide any information on the driver of the vehicle or if the bicyclist was in the roadway.
