MG ADAPT Platform Revealed in India | MG Shows New Energy Platform

MG has revealed its new ADAPT platform in India, a modular new-energy vehicle platform that can support multiple powertrains including EV, hybrid, plug-in hybrid and range-extended hybrid.

MG is currently showcasing the EV and plug-in hybrid versions in India, and the company has confirmed that two cars based on this platform will launch this financial year — first an EV, followed by a plug-in hybrid.

MG has not officially confirmed the exact models yet, but the Wuling Starlight 560 has already been seen testing in India, and since Wuling is MG Motor’s sister brand, it could arrive here as a rebadged MG model.
